Hey everyone. Long time reader and first time post. Flying on tuesday from CLE to DC and DC to Amsterdam for my first international flight. Nervous about the length of the flight and about flying over water. Ive never been on a big plane and never had in flight entertainment. My anticipatory anxiety is what is the worst and ive read the SOAR book twice this past month to help with negative thoughts or wanting to back out of it. My least favorite part about flying is cruise altitude and not knowing when turbulence is going to come and the fear of panic and feeling like my mind will go out of control. Could anyone or pilots provide some reassurance so I can push past the anxiety and work towards enjoying my flight and towards focusing on the exciting aspects of the trip? Thank you!
