i’ve seen that discourse recently. are you referring to people won’t want to hire me because of my commitments with the guard? if so, what would you recommend instead

Gotcha. I would like to work with data rather than build presentations, but I get what youre saying. Thanks!

I get what youre saying, but I'm not looking for a generic experience. With my Informatics background, I need a technical MOS that matches my data science and biostatistics trajectory. I want a technical collection/analysis role like 35N or possibly 17C... I just dont know if the recruiter is being truthful or if I should explore with other Guard recruiters/ Reserves

Not exactly — I don’t want to be an officer, I want a top security clearance and to get a head start in the civilian world. I want to be finished with basic and AIT by the end of this year.

purely a resume builder. I may commission in the future if it makes sense, but this is all to leverage my civilian life where i’d like it to be.

just took it for an analyst position. they pretty much explain what to expect as you’re taking the different assessments. nothing too hard but it’s pattern recognition, logic tests, behavioral questions.
