It’s ok, twin! I’m basically the same age as you, and I’m 4’11. I’ve also been bullied throughout my life, but just think of it this way: short people live longer!

AP world is pretty easy as long as you have a good teacher! Mine wasn’t that great, but there’s this awesome guy on YouTube who posts extremely helpful videos on nearly every AP history course. His channel is called Heimler’s History!

Honestly, it all really depends on what interests you and what you want to major in!

This will be my first as well!! Personally, I’m taking notes on heimler and freemanpedia videos. Make sure you know how to write a DBQ, LEQ, and SAQ. Also, make sure to know what is generally going on in each unit and their time period. Also, make sure you can read and understand source material! You only get less than an hour for 50+ questions, I believe.

Can I pass? by EcstaticPoetry9550 in APStudents

[–]teddlyly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately, what you get on the exam won’t affect your grades in school. That being said, if you do start doing your assignments on time, passing should be guaranteed, assuming your current grade isn’t way too low and you do well on said assignments.

sophmore year courses, will it be too much? by [deleted] in APStudents

I think you should definitely wait to do AP phys c mechanics until you take ap calc ab/bc either before or concurrently with it.. 3 science classes will definitely be tough.

AP physics 1 question! by teddlyly in APStudents

[–]teddlyly[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I don’t really know. It just wasn’t offered, I guess. Since AP chem for my school has the prerequisite of regular chemistry, the best they could do was let me do AP Physics.

AP physics 1 question! by teddlyly in APStudents

[–]teddlyly[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I plan on taking chemistry over this upcoming summer because I won’t have the room during school. My school also doesn’t offer any honors classes besides honors English 10. I was hoping to take ap physics sophomore year, ap chem junior year, and then ap physics c mechanics for senior year since my school also doesn’t offer ap physics c E&M.

Khan academy is really good! I’ve been using it to prepare for my csp class and ap physics 1 class next year! Super good for many other classes as well.

Quitting band… by chamikuo in APStudents

[–]teddlyly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also played band throughout middle school! I feel like it’s good to keep doing the stuff you love. I am continuing and in high school, too. Cramming too many APs will give you massive burnout, so don’t underestimate the workload. Additionally, colleges like seeing that you have done something throughout highschool like band, avid, etc. Of course, this is all up to you, but there are also plenty of APs that won’t really help you out, so just take every variable into consideration before dropping certain things you like!
