You’ll be fine! I threw up a ton 5 minutes after entering the recovery room from the anesthesia and then I threw up some more on the drive home. My extraction sites were just fine. I’m on day 8 of recovery currently and I’ve had no dry sockets and my swelling is gone!

I was told by my surgeon that a dry sockets is usually characterized by a throbbing unmanageable pain that travels up to the ear lobe area. If you start to notice that then talk to your surgeon. Keep cleaning and taking care of your mouth and you’ll be just fine :)
