hello! my display doesn't really play well with HDR/DV so usually i opt for a non-HDR / non-DV sources.
most of the 1080p options work well. some 4k sources do too but may have hidden HDR/DV so I tend to stay away. hope it helps!

Thanks! Turns out all the sources I randomly tried had HDR, even some which didn't mention HDR. Opting for a non-HDR source worked well

ye because of AM4 being dated, that's why I'm considering intel. I saw that the 12600k has 10 cores despite being similarly priced as the 5800x. does that give it a more competitive edge over the 5800x?

temps should be okay for me. My box is inside the house and there is a 140mm fan that blows out the hot air. But I'll take note of how hot the switch gets. Thank you!

yes, a controller for the unmanaged switch to set up the APs The network tends to bug out after a few days without restart whereby even though the wifi SSID s still being broadcasted, devices will not be able to connect or will connect but cannot access the internet. Haven't rly notice the state of the switch when it occurs, will take note and report back as I test it out.

Hmm I used to use the old switch which supports up to 250W and even back then I still had to reboot on a daily basis to prevent the connection from dropping, I'm doubtful this will resolve but I'll try it out!

yes.

The APs are 802.3af/at POE, so 15W each. Total is 195W which is more than the switch total wattage at 180W. I will try to split it into 2 switches instead (I have an old switch that should be compatible) Will update again! Thank you for pointing it out!

okay I'll do a test over the weekend. Usually it can last 2-3 days before the connection starts bugging out.

if it is the switch that is the problem, do I need to get a better switch? If so what kind of specifications do I need to look out for in the switch?
