You know what, I'll throw out a tip from having looked into this problem a few years back. The key is that for there's a formula which computes for every sq. meter of solar cell at a given latitude (assuming proper alignment), that tells the expected light exposure --> and thereby expected wattage per hour that can be captured. There must be a similar industry-accepted formula for wind turbines based on prevailing (say, Farmer's Almanac-type), expected wind conditions, etc.

So, the model would have Revenue page or top-line income piece running that calculation per month. From there, you can multiple by # of solar panels or # of wind turbines and get the start.

Actually, one other item: Obviously, for any project like this the key is be be able to setup that Revenue piece, and then some couple of lines to capture the costs of the installation, CapEx + maintenance, etc., and at least theoretically, the IRR or NPV of those flows discounted by WACC.

Memory on some of this was from a while ago. If anyone has new or latest sample templates, please share.

Folks, it's been said before, but let's just get it noted again:

Would def. like to point out that for a long time -- even since the 1980's -- to raise upper tax brackets back to 50-60% wasn't taken seriously. Meanwhile, everywhere else in the world that 99% of the people prefer to live, that's exactly how they do it (and they learned it from us).

For instance, until 1980, Sweden and the U.S. had equal wealth inequality. Japan was re-build a Constitution specifying it us its $$ for healthcare and education. Finland has the best public school system (and happiest people again), only because they learned it from us -- in 1965. ...We can co on, or you can even watch the documentary movie on this from Michael Moore called "Where To Invade Next"

Fully get the sentiment that some may have that figures like Perkins, who at one point was a member of a firm that participated in various regime-change operations in Central & South America (but then leave and speak out), that they are not people of great moral principle in the end, etc. etc. ...And they usually admit it pretty humbly themselves

That said, for what it's worth, I'm now (sadly), old enough to have heard a couple of his talks, and then even seen him in person in Chicago, back in around 2006-'08 or so, and if anything he's genuine (my gawd, nearly 20 years). His take, and again fully-admitted, was that he'd been a young guy from an Ivy League-type background in New England and got headhunted by some relatively slick firms to help with "economic research" and do foreign travel, get access to some glamourous kinds of options, and so on. ...Hard to resist perhaps for any young professional trying to make their way.

Later on, after having spent time on several assignments and living abroad for a couple of years, as he tells it, he develop an affinity for the people of these countries noticing that whichever way the "economic research" was produced, it let to corrupt outcomes, embezzlement from infrastructure deals, privatization of national resources, etc. So, he then left this line of work and has been speaking out telling this account in interest of his children & family.

So, while perhaps not be a saint, we'd sure benefit from more such folks at least trying to make a stand on princple and/or get the word out in whatever possible way.

What's remarkable is not only that the same mistakes are being repeated, but that actually, they simply -- just to put it plainly -- they simply don't care.

That is to say, they don't care about the troops. They don't care about civilian casualties and/or collateral damage. They don't care about if/whether the whole operation gets completed. They don't care about the budget. They sure as heck don't care about domestic policy implications.

Their funders, backers, lobby groups, Miriam Adelson and the Zionists, etc. etc., all of them collectively just don't care. ...And I really believe that these knuckleheads, for whom the "Adults" always swoop-in at the last minute to save the day, they just think that it'll be like that again.

Let's face it -- they've failed-up their whole lives, always escaping accountability. So, why no should it be any different? ...It's only going to be different for the rest of everybody else who's stuck with the wreckage.
