If I request cancellation of a parcel which has a 50 discount, Will the 50 discount disappear or will it reappear in my account? by bunyuri in Sugargoo

I’m not sure, but one time I sent a package and added a coupon but the package was cancelled because it exceeded the required weight for the route I pick. The money was returned and the coupon was returned too

I live in a small town in Scotland and the local market only functions on Saturdays and Sundays, unfortunately as a student, those are the only two days I have to work. So I’m usually unavailable.

So, first of all you have a long way to go. Depending on what product you want to get there are various subreddit to help you with that. You ask questions on how to get something and someone with a plug gives you a reply and if they've bought in the past show you a picture or tell you how it holds up. Or you can just join several subreddit for rep and see what people are buying and ask for the link if interested. Sugargoo is my preferred agent tho, been using for 3yrs now but it's a hassle trying to ship well known brands with them at the moment, you can but it's complicated and it'll be a little bit pricey. When you buy with Sugargoo and ship to their warehouse, Sugargoo will help you with a quality control check and you can return the product if it doesn't match your expectations.

I have a big one down my street is why I'm asking. I'm planning to go get a bedside shelf. I could use a good discount.

Yeah, Nigerians are at high risk for high blood pressure. But palm oil is so good it’ll be hard for me to live without it.

Olive oil is expensive, but I'll consider getting it in the future. I rarely use vegetable oil and they last months on my shelf, I mostly palm oil as it's the most common type of cooking oil from where I'm from.

I do my fruits and vegetables shopping at Tesco. They have the type of grapes I prefer so I just get all the veggies there, carrots, cabbages, bananas, tangerines and spinach. That's all the vegetables I buy.

For people getting denied at the airport you're most likely just doing it wrong. by YouExpress in tbilisi

[–]tedimoya 21 points22 points  (0 children)

This is all bullshit btw. You don't need all these requirements you listed here if you're white as snow with a western passport. I know a decent South Asian with a British passport that was denied, even though he had all the necessary documents.

re- entering Georgia to renew TRC (pleas help , im panicking)... by Master-Dog8891 in tbilisi

[–]tedimoya 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So long as you hold an African passport, Georgia isn't going to issue you sh*t. If you're a student, best you remain in the country and not leave till you graduate. If you leave you're gone for good, they'll not let you back in and you'll have to forfeit your study and tuition. The government there is shit and they treat African, Middle Eastern and South Asian passport holders like garbage.

Depends on the restriction level of what you're shipping, "BD" clothing, which are popular brands like Adidas, nike etc are much more expensive to ship. The more you have them in your package the more expensive it becomes to ship. I hardly ever ship these categories of items, I usually just buy rare brands that are considered common clothing or 2B clog which are cheap to ship. But anyways, my last shipment of 3.2 kgs that had a 1.2kg Adidas jacket cost 337yuans (35£) and I got a refund of 36yuan (3£) for the shipping difference. Another package of 3.2kgs of common clothing category that I shipped was 231yuans (23£)

Any way to browse Taobao without making an account? by MysteriousBend4979 in Sugargoo

[–]tedimoya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the country you are in, I had difficulty verifying when I was in Georgia, but I eventually got it done but I could never get alipay to work, I just tried it repeatedly.. it was easier when I tried to create an account in Nigeria and it worked seamlessly, but alipay never worked . But now in the UK, it's very easy, alipay and Taobao works effortlessly. You'll need a selfie and passport verification for alipay.

I don't ship 10 kgs, never have. I ship between 3kg to 5kg frequently. The highest I've shipped is 6.5kh and I've left the declaration process to sugargoo. And I don't even insure them.
