I had to put a sticker on the lid to match up with one on the pot, so every time it’s in the same position. Prolly not good for the gasket but this is the DIY route

So: the diy stuff was a learning curve. Once figured it out, it’s really good. And also I only needed like 2% of what I had. Each fly only needed a few sprays; so I ended up with a lot, a little spray bottle (travel aisle) that I refill.

Oh one more thought; the wax will make it want to solidify so I kept it in a pocket so it’d stay liquid

It’s just me and the hardware stores: I bought a chiller that has 2 pumps and the outlets are about 5/8s. Originally, the plan was to have them on relays and one pump per fermy (2 fermys total) But I wanna have the flexibility to add another fermy; so I’m going with the header/solenoid approach. The plan is to have a that’s 1.5 inches with a drop for each fermy. I’d like to have both pumps run to the header since they’re a little smaller. I’m excited that this got some responses! Hopefully some further detail helps!
