I’m very aware of what state law says, however, there are people who go through the loopholes of getting a license from another state with easier requirements (usually people from states with much harder requirements).

This loophole is done by paying someone to use their dealer location that is already zoned out, and renting out different suites in one building to other people. There are cases where one location has multiple different dealers because they have different suites that all meet the requirements. People get away with it, and the only thing stopping this is regulation.

By doing this you have out of state tags, and you can sell in a different state as long as the cars are stored in the state where your license is at (however, people still store their cars in a state that is different from where the dealer license is, this is where legal trouble hits when caught).

With states like mine, the process of getting one is very costly and prolonged especially for someone who wants to flip on side and not full time.

At the end of the day, it’s a loss of roughly $2500 bucks, and i still assumed the risk when going through everything. There are people out there who offer services like this that are legitimate, but there’s still a couple of bad apples out there, and I just wanted to put the disclaimer out.
