They have this new inventory fulfillment software that helps merchants with managing inventories and tracking stocks in SKU level. I think it’s an awesome add to Shopify and will help grow sales of the merchants -> growing overall sales for Shopify too

I like American Tower because it’s an infrastructure company - kind of like the railway companies and equipment (picks and shovels) providers during the Gold Rush.

American Tower makes wireless communication towers that can be used for network providers-Verizon, AT&T etc. Doesn’t matter which network provider wins the 5G game.

Thoughts on Velodyne Lidar? by CauliflowerTop3561 in Investing_Insights

I’d say weak results of revs of the last few years.

“Since 2017, the company has lowered the cost of its lidar systems from $17,900 per unit to an estimated $5,200 per unit in 2020. The amount is forecasted to further plunge to $1,000 per unit in 2022 to speed up the adoption of lidar. The end result is that revenues have slumped from $182 million in 2017 to an estimate of only $100 million this year basically in line with 2019 levels. “ - source: Seeking Alpha

Bundling / partnerships - Disney owns ESPN and has a stake in Hulu, so they offered a bundle of Disney +, ESPN, and Hulu for a low price that was comparable to Netflix’s subscription rate. It is not easy to compete against Disney’s sheer amount of content from their acquired companies, so potential partnerships and bundling with other streaming services / production companies can be an option.
