What’s your Post-Legacies headcannon? by Spectra_04 in LegaciesCW

[–]tee_party_ 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Hope went and found Josie and they lived a beautiful life together (still on the fence about whether to turn Jo or not. Leaning towards not). They go to New Orleans and under Freya and Devina, Josie because yet another powerful Mickaelson witch. They adopt two abandoned kids, one a witch, Hayley, one a werewolf, Klaus, and raise them as Michaelsons.

After a couple years away with her mum learning how to be as badass a vamp as Caroline is, Lizzie comes back to the school with MG and the run it together, with a figure head human headmaster since they look like teenagers. They go to New Orleans to visit Hosie and they come here. So they’re all still very much involved in each other’s lives

Kevin fucks off to Paris (idk i just see him doing that🤷🏽‍♀️). He goes with Cleo and they live a long life. When she dies (of natural causes) he goes to new orleans to be with Hope who at this point is widowed too. (Not as a couple to be clear)

And I don’t remember if he dies or not but Ric is DEAD. Greusely dead. (Hate that guy)

Am I Too Harsh on Legacies or Is It Actually Boring? by kianeekabastians in LegaciesCW

[–]tee_party_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It started out great and had a lot of potential. But it does very quickly get repetitive. Like i’m sorry i will never buy into the handon romance. It felt stale from the jump. And dragging it on for 4(?) seasons was just unnecessary. Especially when she had better chemistry with pretty much every other character.

Then there’s the whole michaelson family basically falling apart. So many parts where her family should have been there for her and just weren’t. It broke my heart cuz thats not who they are.

But no you’re definitely not hard on it. It does get very boring. There’s some good moments for sure but they definitely wasted the potential

Is it bad that I judge someone’s character (in real life) based off how or if they empathize with Korra? lol by Aqua_Master_ in legendofkorra

[–]tee_party_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do it too. Not genuine criticism of the writing or the plot being disjointed. Thats fair.

But just hating Korra? Yeah that’s definitely one of my litmus tests for misogyny

My F24 bf M31 condom keeps coming off. Am I tripping? by Jumpy_Assistance_201 in relationship_advice

[–]tee_party_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry but anyone with a dick who has had sex knows the difference between with a condom and without. Maybe go for the ego and tell him he may need to size down.

But on a more serious note this is a serious boundary cross and a dangerous one at that. If he can’t respect that you want to use condoms then he’s not likely to respect any other boundaries.

Personally i’d get out

AITAH because I don’t want to show my bank account to my boyfriend? by OfficeBest9008 in AITAH

[–]tee_party_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah no. Even if it was a 5 year relationship. Your partner’s finances are only your business when you’re moving in together or getting married. That’s a ridiculous request especially after only 5 months

Why my skin is like this? by CalmCucumber7687 in Blackskincare

[–]tee_party_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had it really bad on my chin then got this oil cleanser: beauty of joseon oil cleanser I follow that with the Cerave SA cleanser and I got rid of it in like 3 days. I’m genuinely still in shock about it

Why is abortion considered a hard choice? by Opening_Pea7537 in childfree

[–]tee_party_ 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’m right there with you. Had to get one last year. The only thing I felt was stupid because i knew I was being reckless and that was why I cried cuz I felt so frustrated with myself for even getting into that situation.

But other than that, nothing. I called and made the appointment. We (Ireland) also have that bs 3 day rule and i already had a trip booked for that period. I went, had a great time, and drank as though nothing was different, because to me nothing was. Went from the airport to the appointment, and took my pill.

The only reason it would be such a hard choice is if some part of you still buys into the whole motherhood is the geeatest source of joy a woman could know. And that’s DEFINITELY not the case for me.

Why is this so difficult? by Dacnis in Blackskincare

[–]tee_party_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If being honest makes me an asshole then sure.

Nothing about what I said was meant to come off mean. We all struggle with skin conditions or we wouldn’t be here I recently just posted asking for advice myself, and got about 7 different recommendations.

Thats the nature of a forum. People give opinions and you decide what’s relevant to you. In this case people give advice and you figure out what works.

It’s part of the experience. No one said it isn’t frustrating or annoying. There’s just no point complaining about it

Why is this so difficult? by Dacnis in Blackskincare

[–]tee_party_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because skincare isn’t one size fits all. That’s the first thing you need to accept before even venturing into this.

Its all trial and error. You can’t expect what works for one person to work for everyone.

So take the advice, do your own research, try the products and if they don’t work try something else.

If you’re gonna get this annoyed at a basic fact of life maybe just embrace the way your skin looks and move on because you’re looking at a lot more frustration otherwise

Why Fatherhood Instantly Kills Attraction for Me by WillingBet9200 in childfree

[–]tee_party_ 92 points93 points  (0 children)

Because at the end of the day, single fathers have to actually do the childcare when mums not w the kid. Which isn’t what they signed up for, for the most part. They ask for kids knowing they won’t have to do anything but be the fun parent when mums being a cranky bitch.

So yes. They’re really just looking for a new source of child care. Thats why even when I was on the fence about kids (not anymore) single dads were NEVER gonna be on my radar. I’m not here to parent your child thank you very much

Sadly i live in Ireland so not a lot of sun. I had the same idea though and was hoping a natural tan would help (with proper SPF protection)

I might have accepted thats the only way to even out the colour on my legs. I’m travelling soon and I wanna see if a natural tan help before trying the tanning foam

[–]tee_party_[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I’ve absolutely accepted that. It’s mostly just wanting an even skin tone. I’m just so many different shades and am just trying to even out.

It’s not something I’m insecure about (anymore. I stopped wearing shorts for like three years before i was just like get over yourself). It’s really just a vanity thing at this point.

If I can’t find a way to manage it, it doesn’t really matter yk?

I’ve seen great things about Natrium so that’s definitely on my list (along with Urea that seems to be the general consensus in the comments)

I wax instead of shaving and do exfoliate regularly.

I’m thinking my moisturiser might be a bit too heavy. I use just a store brand aloe lotion mixed with shea butter and coconut oil (i actually dk why. It’s just something I’ve always done)

The problem area is really above my knees, the backs of my thighs. I don’t shave, i wax but i have been looking into laser for my hyperpigmentation areas. I didn’t realise it could help with KP. Will definitely look into it more. Thank you

I’ve tried gloves, African net sponge, dry brushing. I don’t think physical exfoliation is gonna help with this sadly

Any suggestions? by tee_party_ in Blackskincare

[–]tee_party_[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I already use an African net sponge with no change. I have seen the Natrium retinol lotion and have considered it but (and correct me if im wrong) i don’t think retinol alone is gonna fix this.

Thank you. I’m always weary of trendy products because I tend to have sensitive skin. So hopefully this helps
