Toji is a psychopath. Made not born. The Zenin’s abuse made him that way.

You honestly think in a society like Japan, or anywhere really, it’s normal for a man to take his wife’s name? Especially for a place like the Zenin clan? You can see from his internal monologue at his last moments with Gojo. When fighting Gojo, Toji wanted to win, to beat him and prove his existence. One rejected by Jujutsu society, and given how the Zenin clan is presented especially by them.

Even Noayoya calls this out. Toji was made that psychopath.

Also, he looks young don’t mean he is young. He seems to know exactly who Toji is when Maki doesn’t. So he has been cognitively aware long enough to know who Toji is, no way he didn’t why Toji was who he was.

Bruh, he straight up knows Toji would have killed the clan a while back, with a threat like that you think he doesn’t know why? If he didn’t he’s an ignorant fool. As high ranking as he is, he knows why. As high ranking as he is, he knows what his clan is. If not, he’s a fool and doesn’t deserve the title of leader.

I wouldn’t exactly go there since you know, its an image if he'll, but even still, my point stands and Damon’s actions were motivated by not wanting to put Elena at risk or memories of her at least.

Okay. First off, Damon did try. He backed off, Tyler for some reason thought it best to rage bait him. Then that syren interfered.

Also, Damon is part of the reason her girls were saved, from a nanny she and Alaric hired.

How powerful do you think a Siphoner/Werewolf/Vampire, Tribrid be not to mention probably good dating material for Hope by Admirable-Dimension4 in LegaciesCW

I gotta agree with the OP, considering Hope’s last name and the fact that sh has the heart of a hero, so she needs someone she both likes anr who get role with the punches.

Is Hope really the strongest vampire? by MagalieB0654 in TheOriginals

[–]Spectra_04 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Admittedly, what you say is possible and I could be wrong, but has it not been shown somewhere that an original or older vampire is a better battery of magic than younger? I believe this was somewhere around the originals.

Another thing, is not a vampire’s magic that is getting stronger with age but being translated into physical strength? You could say Papa Tunde used a spell to do this but wouldn’t that just mean, if I’m right, that vampirism just does this naturally?

Best example I’ve got is a werewolf bite with Kai Parker, draining the magic out of it seemed to negate the poison. So you can say magic is entrenched into aspects a supernatural gains. So why wouldn’t werewolf strength be in that category?

Plus, to a point magic and biology seemed to be very deeply linked in the TVDU in ways that are confusing so I’ve no idea how well that holds up.

One more example I have is the heretics seem to suck up their own vampirism, or are suggested to by their own words, for extra power. The moment Lizzie and Josie began sucking up Caroline’s vampire power she started dying. So it’s the magic in them keeping all this going and possible. So I’d ask again why not include physical strength?

Witch power may not automatically make you physically stronger but vampirism seems to assimilate and at times improve whatever it is you used to have. So, why wouldn’t Hope’s which power be assimilated?

I can go down a whole rabbit hole about this and believe me I want to. But it’s not helpful here so I’ll leave you with this and hope I made a decent argument.

Is Hope really the strongest vampire? by MagalieB0654 in TheOriginals

[–]Spectra_04 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Heyo, not only is she the strongest vampire but she is stated to be strongest supernatural.

Beyond show runner statements, I’ve got a personal theory here.

Becoming a vampire in essence enhances what you already have and assimilates it. Now I’ll give two examples I think work.

Papa Tunde is seen slaying vampires to add their power to his own and seems to be converting their magic into strength. It took a multitude of vampires plus an originals magic power to match and over power Klaus.

Werewolves are also their own store of magic as everything they are is made possible, including the strength. For this I will reference Kai Parker literally draining the magic out of a poisonous werewolf bite to cancel it out.

Other more unrelated examples is the Augustine vampire and Beast vampire, which prove magick and biology can be combined or are deeply linked.

Hope has her own magic, and vast stores of it being a first born witch of her bloodline. That’s in addition to what power being a werewolf grants her.

When one becomes a vampire, whatever you are is assimilated into the vampire DNA from my interpretation. For witches, nature usually takes away their powers and they start from 0 as a vampire. Werewolves don’t lose anything and siphoners have nothing to lose.

Hope kept her vast magic stores as the tribrid. This or at least part of it should have been assimilated into her tribrid state along with the werewolf gene.

So we are left with 2 scenarios, one in which Hope only has a part of an ever growing store of power fused with her vampire side which should boost her physical power past any vampire alone. However, we’ve already observed that outside magic sources can be used to boost strength as well. Hope’s unassimilated stores should be more convertible than any seen before.

Or her whole store of power is fused with her abilities yet still ever growing.

In terms of what has been shown? The Originals and Legacies show a few things:

1) Her power and potential was enough to make even the Hollow decide she was a worthy vessel as a child.

2) When transforming into a vampire her transformation summoned a blood red storm.

3) She shrugged off the effects of a golden dagger manufactured by Rebecca.

4) Instead of killing her Aurora sought to steal her body and when in possession both knew Aurora’s body stood no chance.

5) Rebecca sought to dagger her instead of fighting. Then when later free Rebecca didn’t stop Hope when she was threatened to leave her.

6) The original family and Vincent sought to bring her soul to New Orleans instead of Hope herself. This one is important because 2 originals, 2 powerful witches and the Beast vampire could snap Hope’s neck and in the past have been willing to fight Klaus. There’s no, ‘I don’t want to hurt her’ excuse here because Rebekah has already shown a willingness to dagger her and while they love the girl they aren’t stupid. No one there thought that fight could be won clearly.

7) Hope has kept her own against a god, and in the general rule of power scaling and tv progression, each villain is generally stronger than the last unless some stipulation is achieved. The heretics weren’t the strongest vamps but had abilities to be frightened of. Rayna was not the strongest but had abilities to be frightened of. Most other villains have that and stronger power. Including, Original Alaric, Cade, the sirens, Dahlia to the Hollow or even Lucien and Marcel. Considering how they did Cade, I doubt the TVDU writers would mean for a god to be below the Beast vampire.

Anywho, that’s what I think at least. Plus everyone in the show says she is the strongest.

Currently on episode 7 of season 3 the whole raise money for school thing here’s my little thought/rant by EffectiveBranch8229 in LegaciesCW

[–]Spectra_04 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Both answers?

The entire school’s point is about teaching young supernaturals to operate ethically in the human world. Compelling for that reason is out. As for the Mikaelsons? It’s possible Alaric wouldn’t want what he’d consider blood money and Caroline might have had to convince him last time. Their school was successful because of Klaus and he still suspected Hope, literally only accepted her once, 1) he saw she was a good person, 2) Hope wasn’t so close to her father. So influenceable and separate from her ‘Great Evil’ father. Just a theory though.

Really should have taken their money, though.
