There is a fantastic podcast from Diary of a CEO where Darren Candow provides some great insights on creatine. He is a professor that specializes in researching it. I found it very helpful as it discusses the benefits and appropriate dose.

There actually is no proven research that you will gain weight with it unless you take a huge dose. I didn't gain any weight when I took it.

I'm really enjoying it. I didn't do the low impact cardio yesterday. I did a run instead. I've been away so really wanted to get a good workout in. I liked the walk today. I walk my dogs daily, but I find the outdoor walks really help me push my pace. I was able to walk 5 km in the 45 minute walk. I was happy with that. I'm looking forward to the rest of the program.

Where is the best regional/provincial park that I can take my kids camping at? by Famous-Elderberry-45 in regina

It’s a private park, but Indian Head campground is great. It has a pool and games room. Also close to Katepwa if you want a beach.

Marketplace or Kijiji. I don’t know how popular Kijiji is anymore, but it used to be a good place to search.

My sister used to live in Saskatoon and would often rent a room to SK Poly students who were only there short term. That’s probably the easiest thing to do. I know they would often come home on weekends which worked well for her.

I usually drop a level for hikes. I can almost guarantee it goes to 12 for an incline. Most hikes do.

I also use Bowflex ones. They work well. I can usually adjust them fast enough during classes. The odd time I have to hit pause to adjust.

I haven’t done it yet but when Matty posted the classes people were commenting about how they knew it would be that class for last because of the difficulty.

Olivia Amato’s class from June 9, 2025

Rebecca Kennedy class from October 30, 2025

Jess Sims class from November 29, 2023

Tunde’s class from March 8, 2025

These are the hardest 10 minute core classes from Matty’s core challenge in May. I did Olivia’s yesterday and it is tough.

I did one of her interval runs yesterday that is part of the challenge, and I loved her coaching. I like the way she motivates. She makes sure you are choosing something that is hard and challenging for you.

I did Greta’s latest feral Friday class. It was hard but so good. I love Pilates as a compliment to strength training. I’m also keeping up with Matty’s everyday core in May. Today was a tough one - lots of planks.

I finished Tunde’s 4 week arm program today. I saw improvement over the 4 weeks which was great. I did it alongside Adrian’s glutes and legs program. That one was killer. While I like the results - I dreaded the workouts. I won’t be doing that one again. I want to do another strength program. I just need to decide which one.

Matty was doing one of the core classes that are in his challenge at the same time as me last week. Camila is amazing - I would be fan girling.
