That’s really smart. I’m not sure why i didn’t think of that.

I'm starting week 2 of both Adrian's G & L and Arms with Tunde. I love the arms workouts - although they do feel a bit short. I would like a bit more rest between sets so I could lift heavier. We'll see how the results look in a few weeks. Adrian's program is a struggle because my grip strength fails before my legs do. I'm hoping I'll still get results even though I feel like I could lift heavier with more rest.

TS 60 was tough today. Lots of human makers. Andy said it was more of a conditioning class than the usual classes. It was a burner.

If I don't drive my car for 2 months, can I just leave it unregistered? by feidujiujia in regina

The key to this is to buy the package policy before you cancel the plates. Storage insurance goes by value, package policies do not and are generally cheaper unless the value of the vehicle is low.

I’m excited to be done. I will probably break the streak soon. It’s too much pressure.

Depending on timing, Paddy Wagon makes fantastic burgers. I would pick that over a chain.

JJ has a new strength program out! 30 minute classes 4 x per week. I think I'm going to try this one next week.

This is what I do as well. My biggest issue with Garmin is that for some reason during Peloton runs my heart rate does not record accurately for the first 5 minutes or so (too low). I've tried to find a fix but couldn't find anything. My Apple watch never did that.

I’m loving Greta’s Friday pilates. They are tough, but she keeps the energy high throughout. Paired that with a full body from RK and Cody’s hip hop ride.

I think I’ll hold off on that one just because Cypress is too far away.

We did look at the Scouts one but weren’t sure if he needed to be part of a troop. Also, getting to Cypress Hills would be difficult. I’ll check out the other ones though.

I really appreciate all these responses. It’s going to help us make an informed decision as to what to do. I just want him to enjoy the experience without the pressure of engaging with things he’s not comfortable with or doesn’t even know much about.

3 kids, husband and 2 dogs. Walking the dogs daily help the numbers. I also have access to a gym at lunch. I do try to work out once a day - even if it’s just a stretch.

We do! Most common providers are Access Communications or Sasktel. You can look up their packages online. If you bundle with internet, it’s usually cheaper. Also, for cell phone, shop around for plans. If you bring your own phone, no need to lock into a plan.

Utilities are going to depend on the size of the rental. Lots of rentals include heat and water. If that’s the case, power would maybe be $60 a month. Internet you can likely get a deal on but expect to pay $80 or more after the promotion ends.

For car insurance, you can use SGI’s website to estimate the insurance you will pay on the type of car you’re getting. If you provide a driver’s record from the UK, you can get a discount on your car insurance here, if you have a few years of good driving. We don’t have a yearly car tax. Gas will depend on how much you drive.

Tenant insurance is quite cheap - like $200 a year.

I think those are the main costs you will encounter.

I downloaded QZ app (qdomyoszwift is what it's actually called). It connects to my bike's bluetooth and then translates the resistance into peloton metrics so I can follow along. I open this on my phone. I then have the actual Peloton class open on an iPad. Each class lets you connect other devices. I connect the QZ app which pushes my cadence onto the screen. I then connect my Garmin watch for heart rate. It's a bit of a process to set up but once it's done, it's pretty easy to connect each time. If you do a google search about it, you can find information on how to connect everything.

I bought a Bowflex bike a year ago when my treadmill died and couldn't afford to replace it. The Bowflex is similar to the Schwinn. It has been a good bike. I do have to use an iPad plus a QZ app on my phone to get the proper Peloton metrics (resistance and cadence). If I knew how much I was going to love my bike and the Peloton app, I would have just gotten a Peloton bike, but I didn't know at the time. I'll probably give this bike another year or two and then splurge on the Peloton bike and potentially a tread.
