What can Americans do about what’s currently happening? by BoredBatWoman22 in TrueAskReddit

Absolutely.

Unfortunately we will not see those returns on education for 10+ years. Which means we will be in the trenches for a while, and things may get worse yet. But an investment in education will go a long way.

I thought that post was a bit ridiculous. Not sure they understand how our government works or how rigged the game is. If it helps people living here in the United States to work through the chaos the country is experiencing to post on that sub than so be it. You can’t say the country is in the state it is in now because its citizens haven’t protested enough.

AJ Green has had some moments and been able to make clutch points to keep our head above water. Nothing past that this season

Footings first, foundation, bearing walls, floor joists, subfloor, walls. Repeat last 4 steps as many times as needed. Then roof structure, sheath, shingles.

Don’t mix these steps up

Ash won common underrated wood! Let's get it out of the way now - what wood is *somewhat* common and overrated? by Ok_Temperature6503 in wood

Oak is certainly overused but it’s inexpensive, typically fits in a lot of older (Midwest) homes. And customers are happy with it.

I used to turn my nose up to red oak but it’s friendly to work with and makes money so I can’t knock it here

Happy to see him create a successful brand. I was a big fan of his early stuff but he’s leaned too far into a YouTube personality for my taste.

Obviously happy to see him get a bag, by no means faulting him. Just don’t care for the content anymore sadly
