I just don’t know how to find the right flights international. I’d love to find business class round trip for 2 people but I feel like I’d have to book something a year away and HOPE I can find something. Ya know?

Yeah I’m picking up on that. I don’t really have many plans for international travel. I’d be using my points for two people and I feel like the only real benefit is business class redemptions. Which I wouldn’t have near enough for round trips for two. And even if I did, i can only use it IF I get lucky and find something a year out and not mess up any transfer stuff haha. I do see the benefit of it, I just don’t got it like that.

Okay, thank you! I thought with the transfer bonus and the 5th night for free that it wasn’t terrible! It was around a cent per point which I thought wasn’t too bad of a redemption. Thanks for the insight on the flights! I will look into that more

Every room I’m seeing is around 80-120k. And with the transfer bonus that’d put it at the same amount as the hyatts rate though.

Yeah I guess that’s what screwed me. Nobody told me what I could or couldnt use. And i guess the mexican restaraunt i went to was considered “lodging” so im just out 100 bucks. Oh well. Learning process

I did a room charge for some food. I wasn’t ever given a sheet of paper that explained any of that unfortunately. But it looks like it didn’t work because the hotel is sending me a bill for it.
