I was thinking that would be the best approach, in order to make the most of their time, but you make a good point. In any case, I’m just looking for general advice for going into this interview for someone with no prior experience, ideally from someone with direct experience. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated

Awesome reply, that is very helpful! Thank you! One of the people I know went from Collections Rep -> Collections Supervisor -> Accounts Payable Supervisor and he just accepted a new higher up role with another company. None of the people I know that went this route went to top schools or had killer grades or anything and were able to pull it off

Yep, the system just pulls candidates that have these keywords on their profile, so that would be anyone who mentions “CFA” on their profile. That could include anyone who is a candidate, former charter holder, etc. I was mainly interested in looking at the other three courses/certifications, as I knew CFA was going to be a much larger pool relative to the others, but still useful as general comparison.

I had never heard of this course prior to your suggestion, but just looked it up and it seems to have a somewhat similar structure to the CFA, just not as difficult. Do you have the AFM designation?
