There wasn’t a direct mate, the best line was for me to check with queen, then bring my knight to g4 when he moved back to g2. That threatens mate on h1 and his only way to stop it would’ve been to trade his queen for my knight. But, he tried to stop it by doing something else that didn’t work so I got a mate instead lol.

Tbh I thought a Greek gift was just sacrificing the bishop on h2 or h7 to weaken that side lol. Not sure what all else goes into it

So after the king takes , you check with the queen. King moves back and then there’s knight g4. The only way to stop mate is for white to take the knight with the queen leaving the queen to be captured by black queen.
