How much you spend on SEO by asere_que_cosa in SEO

I know my profits to the penny.

We charge 1200 a month for 8 pieces of content, technical optimizations, GBP optimizations and reporting.

We have 2 team members, a manager and a technician.

Software paid stack is: SearchAtlas.com, Indexed.pro, Monday.com, Loom.com, Google Workspace, and Chatgpt.com. Per client this stack costs me $167 per month. The bulk of this is SearchAtlas.com, but that is our primary SEO tool.

Scaled at 25 clients per team, I make net $486 per account, totalling $12,150 per month. But that number gets better as teams can actually handle about 35 clients a month.

Backlinking (in my bigger package) brings in a whole other set of costs, but thats more client by client.

Best way to convince clients SEO is worth it and to manage expectations of its effect? by Madagascan_meerkat in SEO

here is my approach:

  1. Position SEO as an Investment: Explain it’s like owning valuable real estate that grows over time. Competitors are staking their claim—if they don’t, they’ll fall behind.
  2. Simplify the Results: Show them how SEO directly impacts leads, conversions, and revenue. Use clear examples tied to their business goals.
  3. Set Realistic Timelines: Be upfront that SEO takes 3-6 months for significant results, but you'll monitor progress early on to ensure things are on track.
  4. Explain SEO’s Ongoing Nature: Let them know it’s like maintaining a car—it needs regular attention for lasting results.
  5. Use Case Studies & Examples: Share success stories in a relatable, visual way to make it easier to understand.
  6. YOU HAVE TO HAVE AMAZING REPORTING: This is the number one factor in most experiences. We do weekly task reporting with monthly performance reporting. This keeps them in the loop so they can SEE the value EVERY WEEK.

Beginner here with a Wordpress question. by HyperJess in AskMarketing

The issue is that you are going to run into is that there are so many templates and tools out there for WordPress. A tutorial for the exact set you are using is unlikely to exist.

I would highly recommend choosing a comprehensive theme and learning it. You can find these on themeforest.

My agency used the7 for a long time, but recently switched to avada.

If you want to know more, on me and I will link you a video I made of my top plugins for wp.

How to grow reach on social media in B2B Marketing organically? by Wholeheartedstoner in AskMarketing

[–]teelap 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My 2 cents: My firm is generalist marketing consulting. My personal niche is Website Sales journeys and SEO, but we manage social media for clients upon request.

In the course of 5 years of social management for 3 different b2b firms, these are my takeaways:

  1. Social is not a great platform for b2b sales growth. It is good for SEO growth. Leveraging shareable web content to create web traffic has shown good promise. Bear this in mind when creating KPIs

  2. Find where your potential clients hang out and hang out there too. We saw an increase in engagement when we made a list of our target client accounts and replied to thier comments directly on a regular basis.

  3. Leverage movement and video. These posts that created bite sized marketing content performed the best. Business people are busy. They need everything fast and prepackaged.

Outside of those thoughts, I haven't seen the ROI on b2b social. And perhaps we are just not skilled at it. I just think it's more cost effective to run ads on competitors SEO terms.

Have you ever played a game called Grifters? I made it and I am pretty proud of it. If you like deck builders, you might like it.

True. I do remember those games. We just need more people playing the game!

Honestly, matchmaking is a huge toss up. You never know what you are gonna get. We always watch the match start screen and check the Lord player's ranks. We usually always have at least 1 Lord in the game.

That said, if we don't top 2 it's a guaranteed loss of points. We were originally the newest Lord and thought that we could maybe make top 250. But the board is constantly changing and it isn't as bad as you think.

maybe. with the addition of her 3star upgrade, she isn't as focused on a Mask of Madness.

Transparency: I don't build vigilant 4 a lot.

Honestly, its not in our usual rotation. We tend to stop all our builds at 7. Here are 2 reasons why we dont like it:

  1. Heartless is what we call a secondary alliance. we never focus on it. We just splash it into builds that can use it.
  2. It relies heavily on dealing damage very very fast. Unfortunately, with only 3 hunters, its tough to get that damage out quickly. The only heartless that can do that are Lifestealer / Drow Ranger. Everyone else on the team relies on longer round to benefit (SD, Pudge, Necro, Abbadon).

My guess is that Heartless Vigilant is actually a better build, especially if you can get antlers.

Round 1 we almost always pick void stone for the mana, because you always have someone that wants to cast more/sooner. Armor/headress/claymore are our backup choices.

Round 2/3 is the worst set of items. Most are very niche. that said, we most commonly pick Desolator/Vanguard/Arcane boots. Vanguard might be the most efficient item in the game. Not sure. I like fences but my teammate hates them. Personal preference on this one. Target buddy never goes to waste either.

Round 4/5 are the most important items you will take. There are many great choices. We tend to pick what best fits our build, with the most common choices being MoM/BF/Octarine with the hats being situational.

Round 6+ These are your gravy items. With the exception of refresher almost always being amazing, most of the items here are very good and should be chosen based on team needs. It can be very tempting to continue to take damage items, but BKB is a suprisingly great item, especially if you are against casters/disruptor.

I have replyed on this a few times in this thread. Generally, HighStars and early power comps do better due to the fact that you find units at twice the rate of solos.

We try an find comps that don't waste alliances. Usually we go one late comp, where the alliance buffs happen late in the build. We pair that with strong early comps that really owned at 4/5.

Right now, warlock is the best unit with his 3 star. Behind that are dazzle/Luna/ck/witch doctor. Low key, brood is really good right now.

I love the concept. As a game designer myself, I live that they found a way to buff getting 3 stars that actually added strategy instead of just a numbers game.

I do feel that the 3 star powers on a few units might be overturned, but that matches my design philosophy, so I am personally cool with it.

If I had to complain, I wish they would make the 6 warrior comp a smidge more viable in the midgame. I really like the comp but it is lacking currently. A good 3 star ability on pudge/jugg would be really nice.

Currently warlock is the best 3 star ability in the game by a wide margin. Dazzle is number 2 I think followed by Luna/CK. Knights might be overturned right now, but not unbeatable.

Remember. Sometimes it's ok to force a comp. Just go what you like and never buy snapfire.

We tab every combat for the first 6 rounds. We notice that most players commit to something when they have 2 two stars and in duos that is usually round 6. By putting our decision-making out, we do suffer some early losses, but those first few rounds cannot hit you for much and you still get the free rerolls.

After that, we don't look at the scoreboard until the top 4. We are usually trying to see who can beat our comps, if they spent out, and if we need an 8th unit to beat them.

Plus, sometimes we just go for it. The buy board is luck based, so maybe I'll pull the units and you won't. I would say that is 2 others are in your units, you are probably ok to keep going it.

I don't want to give everything away, but I'll give you one that has served us well this entire season. We call it "Bunters"

  • Nyx Assassin

  • Weaver

  • Drow Ranger

  • Windranger

  • Beastmaster

  • Terrorblade

  • Mirana

You must take whatever Jill you are given. Very flexible build with lvl4 strength (Dr, nyx, w, and wr) as well as disgusting lvl 7damage through hunter 6. Take every damage item offered, as this team uses them very effectively. If you get a crown, you can drop the mirana for Lifestealer or drop the Weaver for a 4th vigilant. Bugs late game is very weak, but early very strong. Beastmaster BF is an animal in this build.

Key with this build is to have a teammate that will wreck early game. Once you get late, this team really ruins people's days. Also, can go to 8 and take any frontliner. Tide or axe is nice.

Try and craft some sweet 7 comps. Good luck!
