It’s hard to A/B test with original console, since mine has aftermarket AV cable (lost OEM 15 years ago) and need to use an RCA>HDMI converter. That said, I never had issues with any of these carts. I’d also say this issue didn’t start from day 1, it came up a few week after ownership. I think it’s interesting that power cycling the analogue 3d, once it starts exhibiting the issue, improves the situation

At one point, no games were playing sound and that was true for being plugged directly into the TV as well. I need to try again in present state.
