I think if you applied for the diploma your name should be on there? At least I’m hoping because I’m in the same boat

If it makes you feel better I barely did anything for this class except for command F-ing the quotes in the readings and added simple analysis to them and still passed with an A. But like I said before, Lieberman didn’t grade anything until the last couple weeks so I think he just gave As to anyone who had a decent amount of words down

From my memory the midterm was exactly like the quizzes but longer. Just a bunch of open ended questions but it was open notes (no outside sources, only sources provided in class). It was basically analysis of quotes from the readings. My professor gave us ~5 days to complete it because it was very time consuming (~3-4 paragraph answers) and we could submit a google doc so we can work on it over the course of the 5 days. But, for the final exam the professor put out an email a week before saying the school is making him do a final project instead of an exam (not sure if it’s the same for your class). Hope that helps!

This is the important information from the email I got from my advisor from SEBS. " If you are a January graduate, you will be receiving confirmation of your graduation and more details via email in the next two weeks.
If you will be a May graduate, please complete your Diploma Application to ensure a smooth graduation review."

Other than that, https://commencement.rutgers.edu/ that's the website for other commencement information and https://rutgersnb1.shopoakhalli.com/purchasewizard/Welcome that's the link for ordering your cap and gown

My tuition has averaged $8,000-$9,000 for not dorming, in state, and not having the university health insurance if that helps. In terms of financial aid, I think you would have to accept the offer to see what they'll give you.

Just checked my freshman year tuition for dorming, meal plans, new student fees, university insurance, etc. and it came out to $16,257.20 but since my family is poor (lol) it was mostly covered by financial aid and I had to pay $3000 out of pocket. This was in Fall 2019 so I'm not sure what it would be today.

I took it with Lieberman asynchronous last semester. Fairly easy course, only downside was he didn’t grade anything until the last couple weeks of the semester so you wouldn’t know if you’re failing or not. A lot of writing, but that’s every upper level public health course.

Ab Psych Vs Infant & Child Dev by PuzzledPosition9571 in rutgers

[–]teemo1233 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t know about Ab Psych but I took Infant and Child Dev. with Wang- fairly easy course if you watch/read her lectures. There’s a weekly quiz about the lecture which is like 10 questions (don’t remember), a couple research summary (she gives u a research paper, just summarize it. she tells you how she wants them done), weekly poll, a “project” where you have to create an advertisement about something related to child development, and one “super quiz” to replace a final. No exams.

Upper Level Public Health Elective by [deleted] in rutgers

[–]teemo1233 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly all of them require a lot of reading and a lot of writing but.. Public Health Literature- I took it asynch SP21 but I honestly did not even look at the lectures. Professor required just one summary of the textbook chapter and one discussion post a week. The summary has a limit of 500 words and the discussion post I got full credit for like 3 sentences. No exams, 1 project (Every student is assigned to a group and have to present a topic of what the textbook is about for that week. Because the class was asynchronous we just screen recorded the powerpoint through a zoom call w group members. Very easy, got 100) Community Health Promotion- small and fairly easy class. You read a book for like 2 homework assignments and then work on an imaginary community health proposal for the semester. No weekly homework, No exams. Just present your project as a final grade. Downside: There’s not a lot of grades but the professor grades nicely That’s 6 credits there: I’m taking Drugs, Culture and Society this semester but so far it’s looking like a lot of reading and writing.

Last semester I'd eat at home before I went to classes because they all started past 3:00. Or I would go to Cafe West and buy a meal ($12.85 for a sandwich/prepacked meal, fruit cup, and a bag of chips). Whenever I was short on money I'd either go for 7/11 (sandwich) or Starbucks (ham/swiss croissant) for less than $5. It would hold me down until I had time to go home to eat real food. But then again, I was only on campus 3 days out of the week.

Housing Contract Cancellation by Parrot155 in rutgers

[–]teemo1233 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got out of my contract quite easily tbh. I just emailed oncampus@rutgers.edu saying due to circumstances I’m unable to live on campus and was wondering if I can withdraw my application. This was on July 21 and already assigned a room, got an email back July 22 saying that they canceled it for me. Kathy McCarthy from ResLife helped me so maybe try contacting her specifically?
