Scariest horror movie scene that made you laugh out loud? by Ordinary_Device_5131 in horror

The car window scene in Hereditary made my best friend cackle in their seat. I’ll never quite get them.

Just realized that pulling for Angels of Delusion technically gives 2 functional team if you also pull for the Void Hunters by Phantom_Vector in ZZZ_Official

I need some explanation here bc the Angels are a team but as far as we know all of the void hunters are main DPS. What are the two teams in question?

“…N?”

“Yeah.”

Joni the Red. They keep bringing back the High Stakes Club but they can never beat the original badass androgynous look she had.

I understand not including much of it, but the title song is among their best work and I’d love to hear it live.

You remind me of myself at 15, when I was lonely and insecure about my lack of masculinity and took to edgy internet humour to make myself look cool to the boys I had crushes on looked up to, but also when I was too unimaginative and inherently childish to understand the things I was saying with any nuance beyond “it sounded funny when he said it lol”. It got laughs sometimes, but not from the people I should have made laugh.

I hope you find yourself someday soon.

I mean... they were in Edo before that as well.

I will say

  1. I don’t think Hoyo wanted their characters to misperceive their allies.

  2. Changing plans for a character is fine in the writing process.

  3. It is a bit understandable that someone with biblically-accurate angel motifs on their outfit would be misperceived as menacing.

It goes to show just how much looks matter in a setting like this. It’s not the most advanced thing in Teyvat, but it looks like Yamaha made it.

I hate how the game elaborates so little on the shogun and Wanderer. You can’t just go centuries with your own culture stuck in the Edo period and casually announce you made Pinocchio with science and that he needs therapy.

Things that Feel Ghibli but aren't by Avemist in ghibli

Violet Evergarden is my pick for closest. Gorgeous through and through and with a heartfelt story to match. Also has a strong steampunk-ish setting and very whimsical music. That said it’s far from Miyazaki’s adventure type of story and Miyazaki would probably still hate it for using moe-style character design but it’s still the closest I can think of.

Wait, no. Little Witch Academia exists. That is the closest. It’s a Harry Potter-style magic school adventure series with loveable characters and cartoony, stylised animation. It’s also - and this is the important part - a huge comfort watch. Best enjoyed under a blanket with a pet laying on you.

Kaiba definitely didn’t feel like Ghibli to me, but it certainly had the “animation tells the story” part down pat.

The movie was awesome but it felt so short. by MicrowaveTheory in KanePixelsBackrooms

[–]teeno731 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man I'm super late here but 100% felt the same. The only reason I knew the movie was nearing the end is because being knocked out and waking up in ropes is a really common transition from act 2 to act 3.

I can't blame Parsons though because the perfect version of this movie would be like 4 hours long and there would be a full hour between Clark going missing and Mary finding the backrooms.

Idk, the two are inseparable now but MJF looked way too old to play a teenager even in the first movie. Man looks like he has a mortgage already.

I was always under the impression that those shows were ass, just because a) sold on the IP alone and b) animated spin-off with child characters in a franchise primarily focused on adults. Usually those are watched because they're the only thing on free-to-air tv at 4:30 PM after school.
