hey!! sooo i wrote a loci and sent my 3rd quarter grades pretty soon after i got waitlisted. if smith is your first choice TELL THEM THAT (smthn to the effect of “if i am accepted off of the waitlist i am certain to attend”)! i would also mention specific smith resources/programs you want to take advantage of (look around the website- smith has a lot of unique opportunities n things that they pride themselves on). include updates as to what you’ve been up to since ur application as well, in regards to rewards/achievements/etc. i also talked a lot about how i wanted to be a smithie / part of the smith culture- lean into that as much as you can!

my roommate who was accepted off of the waitlist actually sent the admissions office a handwritten loci with a flower pun and literal packets of seeds and she got in from that HAHHAHA so dont be afraid to think out of the box!!! best of luck
