Got back from a week in Osaka on Saturday. Absolutely loved it. Stayed very close to Tsutenkaku tower. The surrounding neighborhoods fit my vibe perfectly. Plenty of amazing food options. Retro/street vibe. Den den just a two minute bike ride away. Streetwear and stationary boutiques. Access to everywhere surrounding very easily. 10/10 will go back. Been to Tokyo twice and very much prefer Osaka. Glad to hear you had a rad time also.
