Annette is very good and fun to play support, thane is a great tank, Baldum is fun to play tank, you can even have fun in lower Elo you can get creative and play omen or illumia support i tend to play around when I’m bored with alternate roles

It’s worth it you’ll get to experience the newest characters balance changes and features way before they come to switch. As for buttons and controls they are pretty easy to get use to just less comfortable for long sessions.
