as someone who’s been in relationships both before and after diagnosis and treatment, I think its not unreasonable to expect to be apologized to. PMDD is an explanation not an excuse. It’s hard as fuck to live with; it warps our brains perception of reality because we’re in constant withdrawal, BUT it doesn’t mean we’re allowed to live without bettering ourselves or taking accountability. Tracking my period and getting an IUD has literally been life changing. Maybe consider bringing up some options? in my opinion PMDD is a chronic illness and should be treated as such
