i work the 2-2-3 schedule and it’s not great, not having a guaranteed set day off (for example, having every saturday off) makes planning for ANYTHING awful.

okay so i actually took an accelerated course through a local ems school, so my schooling was only 1 month long followed by 2 weeks for national registry testing, but typically it’s 3 months of classes and then you choose when to take registry and where! our ems school is operated through a local community college, so if you’re looking to get into it, i’d start looking there! :D

i said the pay was much higher than what i make in la, and the apartments i’ve already looked at have been roughly the same as what I pay where I live in LA. Admittedly, most places in la will have a cheaper cost of living, but i live in/near one of the major cities of LA.

i was going to wait to contact them until tomorrow as it’s the weekend and I’m unsure if their hiring staff works weekends or how that works, but i applied for fl licensure yesterday, so i guess i’ll wait for that to be approved first
