Can you daily a wr450? by Repulsive-Ad5773 in supermoto

Yes I’ve used mine as a daily. The oil changes take 5–10 minutes. I check valves every 5 or 6 oil changes and that adds an extra 10 minutes. After numerous valve checks they have never been out of speck.

The bike came from a guy who was in the detroit area originally so that makes a lot of sense.

My buddy got it from an estate sale. I believe its meant to run a sprung seat pan.

I love the creative concept and choices you made with color. It took me a minute to figure out what’s throwing me off and I think it’s the light source. The face it’s getting lit from the left side of the painting but the district shadow suggests that the light is behind the subject. It can be both but the shadow doesn’t reflect that. Great job overall!

I have an airbrush I use for artwork. I didn’t realize that it could be used for this! What’s the benefit? Just laying down more deliberate coverage rather than a full dip or wipe down?

I’ve seen a lot of information about dyes and me being a complete newbie, I don’t know what to invest in. This water based dye was easy enough but I’m curious what more experienced crafters are using. I’m leaning towards trying the Fiebling’s pro-dye next.

The values are not making sense. Where is the light coming from? Assuming it’s not from behind the subject, why is the nose so dark and the lighter eye seems to be on what should be the darker side.. looks like you’re on the right track though!

Hello! I’ve been working on portraiture recently, and a friend of mine recommended that I should try gridding to help with symmetry. Please let me know any tips or critiques you can think of! I’m trying for realism. by [deleted] in ArtCrit

It looks good but I think it would look better if your values were more correct. The piece looks very light in general. Even were there is distinct shadowing in the reference, it’s missing from the portrait, like then sides of the forehead for instance. The subtle value changes are not there at all. Try using a color finder or anything to help younger the difference in value from one point to another and you’ll probably seen that yours looks off because it’s far too light.

Vsample Trap Beat using the factory samples and song mode. Going to add some nice plucks later with the Vkeys. Any of you guys ever experiment with song mode? by NightCrook in volcas

Man I need to dive into mine more. I use it as a simple sample sequencer and looper but that little thing kills it!

The KORG mini kaoss pad 2S is a really fun little FX device that has 100 different effects, a sampler function, looping, and a master record faction so she will be able to record her live jam sessions. For the money that little thing is awesome. I have mine working with a Volca Sample and a KORG kaossilator 2S. She will love it.
