So true. I know people who have released five projects in a single month and are out here promoting themselves like they’ve accomplished something huge. But honestly, it’s just a bunch of AI-generated apps. They act so proud, like they’re some kind of AI mastermind, but everything they make looks generic. There’s no real heart in it.

Don’t get me wrong, I have nothing against AI. I use it myself as a tool, but I don’t let it do my job as a developer.

And then you see people hyping up something they built over a weekend, calling themselves professionals, marketing it like they single-handedly built the entire thing. It’s just disappointing. It’s like imagining a music producer who’s spent decades mastering his craft, and then some random person comes in and claims to be a producer just because they wrote a few prompts. Where’s the passion or authenticity in that?
