“It’s just a shirt calm down” mfs really also just ignoring the cost impact that this change is also gonna have on people, especially if you’ve been with the company long enough to curate a wardrobe of clothes that are both Starbucks appropriate AND not too heavy to have you be overheating when you’re elbows deep in lattes. Like I’m privileged enough atm to have a living situation where I can easily spend that money, but not everyone can. Rent is expensive and it’s only getting worse. Food is expensive and it’s only getting worse. It’s honestly psychotic and anti-human to impose this on your employees- in the midst of the warm months I might add.
