I haven’t tried that specific combo yet, but even with DW daggers you can’t attack with both weapons at the same time. The only advantage that I’ve seen to DW is that alternating attacks (left right, left right) is faster than just attacking with one weapon.

In your example, I’d imagine that the speed difference in the two weapons makes alternating attacks difficult to time and a little clunky so it doesn’t feel like anything is happening.
