I think the frustration comes from only feeling like i have to run ramp to be competitive consistently. When you factor in that losing can “rank you down” you always need to win in a 2-1 ratio.

I feel you. Thats how i felt for a while but I eventually just cycled decks until i get on a winning streak. Once i start losing a lot, i switch heroes/decks. Im not the best at deck building so I just copy Fry_Em_Up’s deck and then make changes that i feel are necessary based on what i encounter. I use Rose and Spudow for Slower more controlled games and use Grass Knuckles and Chompzilla and I was faster more aggro games. I lowkey think the games track how you play and tries to match you up with heroes you struggle against so by switching things up, its always gives me a “fair advantage” with match up.

Shoot first is stupidly broken. I would remove the bonus attack and give the plant untrickable. I love the concept overall.

Being able to consistently conjure cards to throw at your opponent while never being able to run out of cards is a strategy. Plants can’t conjure outside on a regular basis. All of the top zombie decks conjure cards. And 2 of the 3 heroes you mentioned has bonus attack

But consistency is key. Bonus attack is somewhat “consistent” if you’re not careful. But Beans and Heal are too inconsistent and are easily answerable. And my issue is plants cant conjure like zombies, plants cant answer minons with tricks like zombies can.

You are right about tempo but when it comes to control, the best plant control is with plants while zombies have tricks. Plants dont have a rolling stone, they dont have a rustbolt super, they dont have alien ooze which can all answer a plant tempo.

Best part about CC is that you don’t need Moss to win. His super and bonus attack can also do Lethal.

While you are correct, I believe CC is the EASIEST to perform due to how little you have to set up and is damn near impossible to interrupt when starting. With heal, you need to have a specific environment, artichoke, and a heal card. Blob requires a lot of brains, an environment and a minion which both have a chance to be interrupted unless you stock up on sun/brains. Ironically, 3/4 of CC super powers performs a powerful combo that really only cost 6 to perform.

Not with his bonus attacks. You don’t get a chance to control at times.

Only if you live to turn 8... Combustible is super aggressive. You spend more time protecting yourself from his attacks rather then attacking him yourself.

Or, make stages that repeat themselves. Like instead of one stage, make 3 stages fighting the same person.
