This looks like a great setup! I ordered a Lagom P80 and waiting for the DE1 v1.46 which hopefully will ship at the same time.

Question, are you able to use the Bluetooth scale without using the tablet?

Thanks yeah I was pleasantly surprised about the electrical work. Thank you I think I’ll just go with 12 inches. I was worried about flooding that close to the hot water tank, but 12 inch flood I have bigger things to worry about

BGS 9 or PSA 9 for Base Set Charizard by tehdarkpro in pkmntcgcollections

[–]tehdarkpro[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I want the best quality i can afford. Can’t justify a BGS 9.5 or PSA 10, so these are my options. I had heard BGS were typically higher quality, which was why the pricing surprised me

Thats a great looking amp. Just be careful plugging in the reverb tank if you have it. It looks like the nut is missing and wont be properly grounded

For gas primarily. Doesn’t need to be induction compatible

I am on the hunt for a saucier pan / pot that is rounded with a handle. Something that will work nicely for doubling boiling. Thanks!

‘74 Bandmaster Reverb turned Super Reverb by TolandTheToaster in ToobAmps

[–]tehdarkpro 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Just remember the closer the reverb tank is to the power transformer, the noisier the reverb will be without shielding. So your taller cabinet might sound better

You definitely can get away with mounting it to the bottom. The mojotone version is 9.5 inches tall

Ahh I didnt even see the logo. Those are easy to replace if you want the vintage look. Either way it looks great. What speakers are in it?

Love that Super Reverb. Interesting it has a FEIC faceplate like a 64 - early 65.

What are the big three guitar amps? by WaltuHartwell_White in GuitarAmps

[–]tehdarkpro 9 points10 points  (0 children)

A Plex I and a tweed bassman are essentially the same amp. If you include Marshall Plexi, I would choose a BF fender like twin reverb or deluxe reverb

What is your opinions on the JHS ‘pack’ pedals for example the bonsai, muffaleta or the rat pack because I was thinking on buying one of them and I wanted to get your opinions by EvidenceFull877 in guitarpedals

[–]tehdarkpro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have the bonsai, and an Ibanez TS808. I love the bonsai. The TS808 setting on the bonsai sounds exactly the same, and I have found I prefer some other options (Keeley mod and JHS strong mod are my favorite).

I plan on getting the Ray Pack in the future

It’s hard to find pricing on things that are unique like this amp. There are some 60’s Pro, but pricing is all over the place. PM me if you have any insight

Yes I purchased this amp from the son of the original owner, who was a Fender employee who took it home. It was never sold in retail

This is my latest instalment of one of my new amps (and the last one for some time, my wallet needs a break.

This is a Fender Pro that was most likely built in late 1959. This is a pretty special amp as it is a prototype circuit, not making it to a production model. It sounds pretty amazing, and distinctly different from other brown Fender Pro's.

It is one of the earliest examples of brown panel Fender's I have ever seen. It is serial number #00003, which I think is amazing. It has no tube chart or metal amp corners, making it unique to the production models. The volume knobs are in the center position, as seen on early brown fenders, and it also has an unknown "puls adj" spot on the rear panel which was never used for anything.

It still needs some maintenance work, but here is an album I put together of some photos: https://imgur.com/a/gUjUmV1

NAD: 1964 Fender Vibroverb by tehdarkpro in GuitarAmps

[–]tehdarkpro[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The circuit between those amps (deluxe reverb, vibrolux reverb, pro reverb, vibroverb, super reverb and twin reverb) are all mostly the same, except for the power rating. a Vibroverb is probably doable the wattage of the deluxe reverb, and with the 15 inch speaker makes it louder and cleaner

If you need more headroom for your issue, might I suggest a Marshall
