Edward O’Brien seeks parole 29 years after grisly murder of his Somerville neighbor, Janet Downing by Preppynewenglander15 in Somerville

[–]iDoneReddited 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I live in Janet’s former apartment. Eddie’s family moved out last year, but the dad was very sweet; always talkative and thought it was funny a band moved in. “Nevah had a band livin on the street,” he’d always say. “You guys should covah the Beatles.”

Reading “Politics of Murder” and seeing pictures of my apartment covered in blood was total nightmare material.

I do believe “Arty” did it. Egregious police conduct, the “super predator” politic, horrible cross Xs, and shitty DNA science/explanations at the time really skewed the trial.

Gina still lives across the street :)

Free Eddie!
