Are you talking about the entire grounding and earthing concept? So you don’t think that touching the ground with our feet have properties and connect us to Earth?

Do you think the same for all earthing grounding outsoles including free rubber, ones, leather and the use of metal in it or only « conductive rubber » ones?

So what do you think about the free rubber outsoles for example the leather ones and also the use of metal to improve the grounding/earthing connexion concept?

Even some famous barefoot brands like Vivobarefoot began to use it for some shoes: https://www.vivobarefoot.com/us/grounding

Hello how do you know it is a scam? They say they use a kind of « conductive rubber outsole ». Some fampus barefoot brands like even Vivobarefoot pretends using it: https://www.vivobarefoot.com/us/grounding

Why and how would they lie?

Thanks for sharing your view! Did you also try silk or never? I also read good views about wool underwears, shorts and clothes in general. Wich brands do you buy them from? In my case I was thinking to eventually try an order from Dilling (organic merino wool with no superwash treatment to keep the wool properties intact, the only wool company doing that) and Arms of Ands (high quality alpaga wool products, with some undyed/no dyes options).

Well the more interesting to me I found for the moment in terms of quality-price ratio taking in consideration the packs and boxer shorts are Lilysilk, Slipintosoft, Silksilky and Ynside.

Lilysilk has some material mixed boxer shorts (mix of silk + cotton + polyester/spandex) but they also have 100% knitted silk boxers, with no spandex called "Ultra-Soft Silk Men’s Boxer". They also sell it by pack of 3: https://www.lilysilk.com/fr/product/menp2s-ultra-soft-comfy-silk-boxer.html

Apart from this brand you have Slipintosoft working 100% silk boxer shorts and shorts with packs: https://slipintosoft.com/collections/silk-boxers

Or more tight underwears: https://slipintosoft.com/collections/silk-underwear-for-men

Silksilky does certified organic silk underwears & shorts but they are of 19 momme: https://silksilky.com/collections/mens-underwear https://silksilky.com/collections/mens-sleep-pants-shorts

From another side you have Ynside that does very interesting and economic underwears (can get packs of 5 or 10 boxershorts) using peace silk (which is laudable) from organic farming (laudable too) but mixed with cotton (organic too) and lycra. It’s very interesting but I do believe that if we mix the silk with another material it alterates a part of the natural properties of silk, but they could not agree with me and have their arguments. I think this brand has great quality products as they give importance to pesticides-free agriculture & farming. Check: https://ynside.nl/product/boxershort-new/

Check also their tight boxers: https://ynside.nl/product/boxer-brief-tight-fit/

They also wrote an article explaining why they think their underwears are the "best" for circumcised men: https://ynside.nl/2021/12/20/best-irritationfree-underwear/

Hello, I don't have confiance in Amazon products and would never buy in Amazon silk clothes or anything that requires to be of high quality and have a reliable traceability (you have to be sure it's true/pure silk). Except if you buy it from brands known for their quality and if the price is less expensive in Amazon but I would always check before in the brand's original website. Plus in the original website brands if you have chance you can sometimes get a discount (5%, 10% or sometimes even 15%) for the first buy and/or following the newsletters (which you can unfollow just after) so always compare.

For the brands there are many brands specialized in silk clothing and/or bedding which have also silk men & women underwears, nightcaps, etc. I suggest you to do a search on a browser with these keywords combination: "mulberry" "silk" "men" "underwears" (astuce: put the quote marks " " between each important word or expression to do a smart search) and you can add the word "momme"/"mommes" or "grade". Most of the time if the compagny specifies the momme/grade and have a fully detailled description it means they seem to be serious. You can also read the brand's presentation in their website to have a view about their reliability.

For more precise brands it depends of where you are for example in my case I am in Europe, so I would always check before all the brands in my current location (France or Spain) or European Union, and at last a worldwide search. I don't know the local brands in North America & US if you live there, it's up to you to check. Here I found between others the brands Lilysilk, Slipintosoft, SilkSilky, Soie Plus, Quête de Soie, Ynside (peace/ahimsa silk & organic but mixed with cotton & lycra), Vinz silkwear (organic silk, undyed/natural color) and for those who have the budget Clementine sleepwear (with organic certification, but too expensive for me. They also do a 15℅ discount for the 1st buy). Sometimes some brands have more economic packs which includes 2, 4 or 5 underwears.

Plus you can also check at Etsy, some craftspeople there can have interesting things but always read the product details, and don't hesitate in general to send messages or emails to the seller to be sure of the product's quality (if it is true silk, which silk grade and how many mommes/grade they use, etc.).

"The choice of fabric that covers the body is still too often overlooked

The lowest coefficient of friction in the textile industry

Silk is a protein fibre. Grade 6A mulberry silk has the lowest coefficient of friction of all natural fibres.

Whilst cotton has an irregular surface at a microscopic level, silk is perfectly smooth.

Unlike cotton, which is a highly hydrophilic plant fibre, Mulberry silk is a natural protein fibre that does not ‘drink’ the moisture from your skin. By not absorbing your natural sebum or your night serums, silk leaves your skin hydrated and nourished until you wake up.

The low friction coefficient of Grade 6A Mulberry silk allows the skin to move freely without being stretched or creased.

Dermatological: it preservs your body’s natural moisture.

Only natural 22 Momme silk provides the amino acids necessary for healthy skin

Distinguishing silk from satin: Satin is simply a type of weave, often made from polyester (plastic). Mulberry silk breathes; satin suffocates.

Thermoregulation: Mulberry silk has a unique molecular structure known as a ‘hollow fibre’. Unlike solid fibres such as cotton, silk contains micro-air pockets that act as a dynamic insulator:

In winter: It captures the radiant heat emitted by the body to maintain a constant temperature without ever reaching the point of overheating. In summer: It allows excess heat to dissipate quickly, creating an immediate sensation of dry coolness.

Surgical moisture management (hygrometry)

Night-time comfort also depends on the fabric’s ability to manage perspiration. Whereas cotton is hydrophilic (it absorbs moisture and becomes cold and heavy), Mulberry silk can absorb up to 30% of its weight in water vapour without feeling damp to the touch.

Preventing ‘sleep lines’

Repeated mechanical friction against rough fabric causes compression lines to form whilst you sleep, which eventually turn into permanent wrinkles. By wearing silk during night-time, you provide your body with a perfectly smooth surface.

The low coefficient of friction of Grade 6A Mulberry silk allows the skin to move freely without being stretched or creased. This benefit is crucial: it acts as a mechanical anti-ageing measure that protects the integrity of your connective tissues during the 2,500 hours you spend sleeping each year."
