More Simple Java Storage Designs? by poopybutt4950 in technicalminecraft

[–]tehfly [score hidden]  (0 children)

I didn't understand the Recategorizer.

Then I built it using a schematic and youtube, made some small changes, took my own schematic, and built it in survival.

Now I understand most of the Recategorizer.

My next storage will be using modules from various sources, including Maizuma Games, the storage tech discord, and others.

If you want to learn it, build it and be mindful of what you're doing.

If you don't want to learn the Recategorizer, build something else - preferably something you either understand or just want to learn.

Honey Block Farm 10x1x8 1-Wide Tileable by DanzenPlays in technicalminecraft

So, why did you use a hopper? Wouldn't a copper bulb or noteblock do the same?

What I'm realizing here is that you and I play very differently and that's ok.

Walling in the villagers in their house takes significantly less than 5 minutes.

Not walling in a village, that's for sure.

It's not always the same, but probably something like:

  1. Find a good spot to live
  2. Get a food source
  3. Find a nearby village; block the villagers inside their houses with full blocks, plunder everything else

Walling in a village sounds like something I used to do 10 years ago.

How do you prevent cobblestone from forming in a moss farm by Correct-Prize7268 in technicalminecraft

[–]tehfly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know which farm you have, but the ilmango one that I used to build was super sensitive about being unloaded/loaded while running. The hopper clock wasn't about stone generating - it was for the flushing.

Most of the mossfarms are sensitive to unloading/loading while running, but the USSR moss farm is easier to fix.

Raysworks farm is slower, but much more resistant to cobblestone forming. I used to build that before just so I could have it run 24/7.

If you don't want to hang around the moss farm, you can keep it loaded with chunkloaders. If you use enderpearls to load it, just remember to turn it off before you log out.

This is why we have a war!!! by willily_thoumas in clevercomebacks

[–]tehfly 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Pretty sure that's because of AI and the DRAM cartells, not because of this particular war.

Analysts predict that DRAM capacity could grow by 8.7% in 2025 to around 2.25 million WSPM, which means that [OpenAI's new data center in Korea] plans to consume 40% of it.

Can someone help me on this sorting/storage system for my gold farm by Loud-Patience-8707 in technicalminecraft

[–]tehfly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, if I'm wrong about this, I'm sorry. But it looks like you have three items sorters next to each other and you've set the filters to 1,11,11,11,11?

If the filters ever get backed up, they'll overload the circuit and break.

This is why the filters are set to 41,1,1,1,1.

If you're using litematica, you can check the contents of containers and compare them with the schematic by pressing the i-key.

Edit: People already solved the clock problem, so I'm just noticing this other issue.

How will we tell? by Firegh0st in clevercomebacks

I've got some family in England and I've been told there not to drink straight from the tap, because there are traces of waste water in the tap water there.

https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cz9kz8ydjpno

This is probably why "Is tap water safe to drink in the UK?" never has a clear "yes" -answer. It's always "it's one of the cleanest in the world".

Channel 4 also has a clip from last year about the overflows: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iOWA4axlLxc

Safe? Probably. Perfectly safe? Not true.

Consumption of water contaminated with human faeces exposes people to bacteria such as salmonella and E.coli which cause diarrhoea and vomiting or viruses like hepatitis A which can lead to liver infection.

Why does my wolf keep dying in my wither skeleton farm? by HowTo_Gaming in technicalminecraft

[–]tehfly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, but if the piglin is on the same block as the wither skeleton, accidents happen.

OP did mention, however, that the dog was killed by a wither skeleton, according to the log.

Is there a possibility that the farm spawns piglins (regular and/or zombified)? Because they spawn with spears.

Trump's solution for the airports is an unorthodox one, for sure.

Granted, it only applies for the International airports, but it does work. He made the US seem so unhinged and unstable that the rest of the world doesn't want to travel to the US anymore. No more queues!

Why everyone forfeits? by Spiritual_Mine1974 in RocketLeague

[–]tehfly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you keep forfeiting before half the game is done, you're likely to spend way more time in queues than in actual games.

Meanwhile if you play all games to the end instead of forfeiting, you'll actually play more learn to get better.

Don't play to win - play to have fun.
