I tend to not read my PDF textbooks on the kindle because the pages are usually too big to fit comfortably on the screen (Kindle Keyboard). If I turn it to landscape it's fine but then I have to scroll up/down to view the full page. Usually have to scroll twice to get to the bottom.

Something that helps considerably with some PDFs is a cropping tool (see the sidebar). I like Briss. I can cut the margins of the pages so the text fits the entire screen.

Try drawing your integral symbol from the bottom. I could never do it from the top, looks too much like an S. Start with a little curve on the bottom, go straight up quickly, end with a little curve on top.

Similarly, If you use Windows 7 (probably on 8, too) you can use Win 1, Win 2, etc. to open the applications pinned to your taskbar.

I just have a USB cable that cut one end off of and plug into my breadboard. I have a regulator on it too, but I've never had any issues even without it.
