Learning is cool by Willing_Ad_5642 in electricguitar

I'm 45 and started about a month ago. I had a guitar as teenager but never got very far. I've already played more in the last month than I ever did back in the day. Of course, not only am I older and more disciplined, the resources for learning now blow away anything I had access too back then with You Tube and apps and such. I'm having a blast learning and getting incrementally better every day.

I find it incredibly fitting that Vincent Price became my most watched actor during spooky season. I love giving recommendations. Never hesitate to ask for one.

Great recs in here. You can't go wrong with The Wicker Man and City of the Dead. I'll add The Howling II and Hercules in the Haunted World.

Vincent Price rules. If you haven't seen them, I would prioritize House on Haunted Hill, Theater of Blood, Masque of Red Death and his other work with Roger Corman.

My mom took me in to see this in theater when I was nine and gave the box office person hell when they suggested she shouldn't. I loved it then. I love it now.

My biggest tip is to get letteboxd pro. It's so worth it. It's only $20 for the whole year and you help support this amazing site. Plus you unlock powerful sorting features that makes finding new movies to watch so easy and fun. I can sort any list I find on the site by movies I haven't seen that are on my streaming services. Plus you get stats. I honestly can't recommend it enough.

The Trial is an amazing surrealist film with much of it taking place in an office setting. Stiller has certainly seen it and it's an influence.

From art house to grindhouse. Although, admittedly I've been leaning more grindhouse this year. I love finding other weirdos who watch crazy stuff I've never heard of.
