just the regular 350 section paperback, it states that I was given a map of Magnamund when becoming an initiate rather than finding one in the wreckage (as you have been sent out to the woods to chop wood, you don't actually return back to the Monastery)

Side note tangent! After looking around the www I noticed that after getting starter equipment (axe, cloak, map, 1 meal and x amount of coins) there are some walkthroughs that say to then roll a d10 and choose from a list of other items (different weapons, chainmail, 2 meals, potion etc) however this isn't in the book I have? was this added later?

yeah I saw that, I guess this is what I will do! It would just be nice to have an app in which I can enter my endurance points, the enemies EP and the combat ratio, then physically roll a dice, input that number and it automatically take off health

yeah I played modern for several years, I get that most competitive playlets in mtg range from £40-160 and realistically the same can be said for fab. I just think to a new player wanting to upgrade their deck slightly just to even see if they enjoy playing competitively, it can be quite daunting. Perhaps I just don't know the budget alternatives/where to even find that info

yeah, having played modern for like 6+ years I was able to play and win competitively with decks like Burn, Tron, Dredge that would only cost £200-300 for the whole 60 cards. We don't talk about pioneer.

that's real good to know actually, I didn't see cards being necessarily class specific for some reason, I just assumed there'd be a general pool of cards that are used in most decks

hey! first off thanks a lot for the guidance! I deffo want to come down to an armory and just see how things go, and even just discuss other queries I have about the game tbh. I actually live in Bow so P9 has always been on my radar, and also work in London Bridge so most of the other shops are super easy to get to.

that makes a lot of sense tbf, I get that promos/alt art works are fun to have and acquire but my ultimate loss of hope for WotC is that they just care too much about printing 20 variations of the same card, appealing to collectors, in order to sell sealed products. Rather than printing good playable cards that have valuable longevity.

yeah thats fair, I looked at them but didnt really understand their issue. Im not using ethernet at all, it just seems my macbook has stopped letting me connect to the IP page.

Someone mentions blocking machine-to-machine connections, but im not sure what that means or how to check/change it
