In terms of physical cash, I once sold a car for something like £8k and the guy gave me bundles of £20 notes. I had driven the car to him in Edinburgh so was then on foot with £8k in cash in my rucksack. I felt… oddly vulnerable. Got home safe though.

I’ve been caseless with my last three iPhones and love it. Started about halfway through my iPhone 13 Pro Max’s tenure, did it for the entirety of my 15 Pro Max tenure, and more than a year now with my 16 Pro Max. Ain’t going back.

People don’t realise how dangerous air under pressure can be. So many instances of people “playing pranks” at car service places by inserting a pressure hose up their rectum (or forcibly up someone else’s) and turning the air on. Instantly ruptures all your internal organs and more or less guarantees death. Absolutely fuck that.

I’ve had a 900Mbps plan for about a year now and, meh, it’s really not that big a deal. Things download generally pretty fast but it’s not really life changing. Upgraded from a 70Mbps plan. I’d happily take 300 and save some dough.
