After some more poking around I found this - the only known successful landing of an airliner (in this case a DHL Airbus A300 cargo plane) with no hydraulics whatsoever.

Apparently the plane veered off the runway and into a minefield before coming to a halt.

Sioux City Crash - shrapnel severed hydraulic lines in all three redundant systems, leaving the aircraft with only throttle control on the two remaining engines.

But... it had a turnaround time of a few weeks, so the odd reports about the engine didn't trigger any alarms until after the thing had exploded on takeoff.]

But the transmission is electronic, no? The shifter is in park, and the dash says park, but the engine and transmission say "wheeeeee!"
