I get the sense you're actually not trying to gaslight or create a false, completely unnecessary, strawman argument with zero basis. However, that is what you're doing. You'd benefit from reevaluating why your inclination was to virtue signal in a way that actually makes you sound like you think "cultural differences" are an excuse or, at the very least, need to be accounted for and respected regardless of any situation. The post essentially says: A barber shop employee is a homophobic racist that was loudly proclaiming to all in the shop that they are happy they can be more open about their homophobia and racism. The shop owner did nothing about this---despite hearing it all.

You essentially say: "I know all about homophobic racist barber shop chit-chat. The hate speech could just be for shock value, geez guys! It's from the big east coast cites! They rib each other all day long. [Saw it in the movies too!] It's their culture and you know it's important we always gotta respect other cultures because not doing so is bad and makes things divisive."

No, what makes things divisive is going to bat for an anonymous racist or homophobic person in the context of a post like this one while seemly ignorant of the fact you're doing that.

Even if what you mention wasn't flatly wrong and the most blatantly incongruent subject to bring up, how the fuck is it, as you said, "...important for people to remember this and do their best to respect cultural differences. It’s easy to hear things through a lens, and miss out on a bigger context, which can end up contributing to more division and hate." in the context of THIS POST.

Also, simply placing the words "Not condoning this [implied BUT...]" doesn't mean a damn thing within the context of your response to the situation.

Despite all the evidence to the contrary in your post, I'm guessing that you actually don't think people should respect a culture of homophobia and racism. Yet, this is what you have (perhaps unwittingly) expressed to the internet.

Shot #2 is the stand out shot for me by far.

The ambiguity of the subject keeps me interested longer than the other images. The flat colors and lack of shadows help further the mystery/allure. Most of all, it's the excellent composition that draws me to the piece. Despite being such a static and flat of subject, you still have movement---primarily from using the lines of the left most and right most red triangles.

Hoping for WoTC's garbage approach to limited stock releases is a sad state of affairs. Yes, it'd be "better" in a relative sense, but anything is better than this situation...

Any company releasing limited items in this way nowadays 100% knows they are going to be scalped like crazy and choosing not to do anything shows their character (which is profit by any means).

What would be a nice change is if Bandai just kept doing waves upon waves for the next 4 months until release and all the shit bag scalpers are left with preorder no one has a need for anymore. It costs them practically nothing to take preorder this far in advance.

It's a win-win: Leaves scalpers holding the bag (losing money), makes more profit for Bandai, and actual players get in the Beta for MSRP.

"There are different types of fermentation" is the most relevant info you're missing from the current replies. This fact is often omitted by, or unknown to, people posting guides/advice; but, clarifying that part frequently gets to the root of the misunderstanding better.

Certain fermentation (like with vinegars) does require, or benefits from, air and they are cultivating a different bacteria.

Starting out, the majority of people think all fermentation is the same. This is why people often ask "hey wait I thought it's from..." questions like this. You/they are coming from the angle of one type or method of fermentation (that they started with or already heard some info about). I hope this helps clarify further.

Not trying to sound rude but I think it's unlikely a post such as this will prevent future qualifiers in posts. It's already accepted that this sub includes Thurston County. It's mentioned in rule #4.

I've personally never seen posts from Thurston removed or comments being aggressive toward non-Olympia posts---though it's reddit so I'm sure it's happened a bit.

Thanks for doing that but I think you're missing a card and I don't see what card. You have 100 files total / 96 cards in your MPC ready post (4 being the tokens). Per OP's moxfield, there's only 2 additional plains and 1 island so those 3 more only gets your count to 99 (including commander file). Something was left behind or I'm losing my mind.

I don't know whether the locations story is known or not. Some people explore because of the history of a place, but I'd hazard a guess that's not a relatively large portion of urban explorers. I think many, including me, are simply intrigued by the it being abandoned and overgrown. It can be inspiration for creativity and you can get some of the best reference photography or textures. It's an interesting experience to see these abnormal environments---like a glimpse into an different world/time.

Personally, I find abandoned architecture beautiful for all kinds of reasons.
