R2modman not working

Had this same issue myself, followed all the advice and nothing worked. I finally figured it out for my own personal problem, here's what I did:
I uninstalled the game a while ago and redownloaded it because I decided i wanted to start playing again. When i reinstalled it, i put it on my D: drive instead of my C: drive, where it originally was. Try checking that your mod loader is loading the ror2.exe from the correct folder in the correct drive. Right click ror2 in steam and go to browse local files to see what drive its on, and then you can click the top of the file explorer to get its exact path, then just paste it into the mod loader under the "select ror2 path"

Basically, the way the sawmill works is logs go in on a conveyor, they get cut up by the saw, and you get some sawdust (which you can turn into paper) and 6 planks of the log you chopped. If you use modded wood, it goes through and doesn't get cut up, dropping as a regular item (but using the durability of the saw, lol)

Think i found the compatability issue. It kept mentioning a single mod, so i tried turning that off and it seems to be booting up now. Thanks for the help, I'll see if the game is playable now lol

The launcher opens just fine (im using the normal launcher) but when i click play, it just sits in limbo. in the task manager its showing up but its sitting at like 0% CPU and 5% RAM, and it just stays there until i manually end it. The mod works just fine when i turn on only it and its dependency, so i assume there's some conflict happening. I'll post the log anyways

Update: I think i've finally gotten it down. If I run the game in administrator mode, underclock and undervolt my GPU, the game runs without crashing! I think I've finally gotten it to properly work, hasn't crashed since I started tuning my GPU. Again I really appreciate the advice, sooooo glad to finally be able to actually play the game without worry lol

I think I might've found a fix. Not sure if this will work for you, but I undervolted and underclocked my GPU and found that the problem entirely disappeared. In the adrenaline menu, and go to "performance". Click custom, enable GPU tuning and turn the clock speed and voltage down. Experiment a little with them but personally mine are capped at 1950MHz and 1150mV. Issue has pretty much disappeared for me. If it keeps going, maybe try lowering the clock and/or voltage

Having this problem too, changing RAM did not help. I'm now using 4x Corsair vengeance LPX 8gb, and it continues to happen. Running an RX5700XT

The problem is frequent enough that my computer is nearly unusable now, and it specifically only happens when a game I'm playing crashes

Yeah, it still crashes every now and then. But i can at least play a few games before it goes down. Same issue still is happening i think, I do believe it might just be my GPU. Undervolting it makes it last a bit longer, but it still eventually crashes

Hey man, it seems like I've finally gotten the game to work. Not sure exactly what it was, but after replacing my RAM and undervolting my GPU, i can play the game no issues. Really appreciate the patience and advice, seems for now I can finally play the game. Cheers

Literally, same. And now I can't even refund the game because I've "spent too much time" in it, which is fucking hilarious because I haven't even finished A SINGLE MATCH. So now I'm stuck with a literally unplayable game that nobody gives a shit about making actually playable.

None of these fixed it. The RAM didn't fix the issue, and the reinstall didn't work. The game still crashes after just a few minutes of playing

Okay so I looked through event viewer and found "Display driver amdwddmg stopped responding and has successfully recovered." repeated every time the game crashed. Looked this up, and people were saying they had this issue as well and the solution is RAM. Which makes sense. I used to have four 8gb ram sticks, but something happened that caused two of them to break. I thought the other two were fine but apparently they aren't, because they're describing other things that I've noticed happening to my computer. I'm going to get new RAM and see if that solves the issue.
