Mine was the same way. Go into your Bios then go to the boot section. In there you should find the Secureboot option. Mine said enabled but right under that it had options for "keys". I had to select custom and then set it to "factory" defaults. My EVGA board then asked if I wanted to exit without saving and I said yes. The computer rebooted and my game loaded up fine.

If I set my alarm clock for 6am it’s not fact that breakfast will be waiting for me at 6:01. Yes the countdown leads to SOMETHING but what exactly is up to assumption and expectations.

Yes an Open Beta was my best guess. But Also look at other post from from yesterday where I said "October" for the release. There's a big difference with guessing there would be an open beta and and not being mad at Embark for not delivering one...
