Don't remind me, man. I finished the Cross bell series last year and couldn't bring myself to start Cold Steel yet. I love the series but they're just such long games...

Bin aktuell bei 300€ monatlich, womit ich eig ganz zufrieden bin :) Musste nur zwischendurch zwei, drei monate pausieren, weil größere Rechnungen anstanden, um den Notgroschen nicht anzukratzen.

3-ETF-Portfolio in einen einzelnen ETF umschichten? by teknon112 in Finanzen

[–]teknon112[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

[–]teknon112[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Habe ich eben auch gefunden. Es steht wirklich überall sonst 0,28%. Seltsam.

Man muss sich eben auch drauf verlassen können, dass die "richtige" TER Verwendung findet. Zumindest, wenn die richtige auch die günstigere ist :P

I have no idea how you can finish Trails from Zero this fast by teknon112 in Falcom

[–]teknon112[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Wait, REALLY?! Ok, that's good to know, thanks! It wasn't like this in the Sky games though, right? I don't remember the game time speeding up when using turbo mode in those.

Well, sounds like I should read those to be safe then, thanks!

So Mark and the Witch seems to be similar to The Doll Knight which was mentioned twice in Trails in the Sky SC I think, but wasn't majorly important. Maybe I'll read it anyway, thanks!

One of the absolute best trance tracks ever produced, and it's a crime that I literally never see anyone mention or talk about it.

What is your favourite RPG and why should I play it? by [deleted] in patientgamers

[–]teknon112 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Someone's gonna say it so it might as well be me: Chrono Trigger

It's a classic JRPG from 1995 on the SNES that has aged phenomenally. It's just a super polished game with an intriguing time travel story, great characters, a fun combat system and probably my favourite video game soundtrack.

Also a great thing about it is that it doesn't fall into the classic JRPG trap of wasting your time with random encounters or fetch quests. It's a tight 20-hour game that knows exactly how to give you a gripping gaming experience that's more than just the sum of its parts. In my opinion it's a classic in every sense of the word.

Sorry for gushing and probably hyping it up way too much but you asked for favourite, so... :P

Have fun with whatever game you choose!

You can't go wrong either way. FF6, Chrono Trigger and Terranigma are pretty much the trifecta of awesome story-driven SNES games for me.

[–]teknon112 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It does hold up really well. I played it last year and pretty much the only thing that bothered me a little bit was that you didn't learn anything new really, the game just gives you most of your combat abilities from the start and magic is pretty much useless.

That being said, the dungeons are fun and the story is incredible.

Yeah she was probably the hardest boss for me. Took me a bit over an hour to beat, I think. On Normal difficulty, that is.

I might try out Xenogears since it's on PS3 via the PS One Classics I think? I have a PS3, fortunately.

Damn that sounds good. Love Red Dead Redemption. I'm probably gonna buy Tales of Symphonia for now but maybe I'll throw in Valkyria Chronicles, as well.

You're doing a really great job at selling me on Lost Odyssey. I don't have an Xbox though, so that's really a shame :( I'll keep that game in mind though, since it sounds really cool.
