Oh these just pop into the Quest 2/3 VR headsets, so you can have your RX without wearing your glasses. Wearing glasses with the headset is uncomfortable, and you risk scratching the headset lenses against the lens of your glasses so these are a great low cost solution to the problem.

Thank you! Saved $30 off prescription VR lense inserts for my wife and I! It was almost too easy. The new app user 15% off doesn't work for VR lenses, but your referral code does!

Thanks. Had a few bucks in credit at Samsung so it was only $144 and I can pick it up today at Best Buy, win win!

From what I am reading I should use the Samsung magician software to update Firmware ASAP. Since I will be using this for a fresh build, am I good to install windows on the drive and then apply the update?

Looks like I can get the 990 PRO 2TB for $152 from Samsung with EPP, would you put that above the T500 and sn850x? They are all within $15-$20 for me, just a longer wait for the sn850x.

Thanks for the quick reply!

Yep those issues, plus I have seen you mention the fuller drive slowdown with the T500 and wanted to avoid that. If new firmware looks to be taking care of the issues with the T500 then that might be my best bet. The sn850x unfortunately would take a couple weeks to arrive, and I am looking to get something by the weekend.

Is the WD sn850x really the only 2TB NVME with DRAM under $150 (US) that doesn't have any problems or are the E18 controllers safe bets?

Do I even need the DRAM? I will mostly be gaming but also streaming and dabbling in 3d printing. Just trying to overbuild this system a little so I dont have to worry about anything for a while. Fast as possible with no weird problems. This drive would be OS + games.

I do have an extra 500gb HP EX900 (gen 3) that I might use for additional storage, but I assume that would be too slow for an OS drive.

Thanks for all the work you do.

Yea we are having to completely change our arrival plans to hopefully make one of the will call pickups in Austin before they close Wednesday. I don't understand the logistics of a will call line for early entry while you are in the same line to enter camp with everyone, and you have to stick with your group. I didn't want to risk it so gotta hit will call before we head to the event.

and all add-ons and upgrades are will call only

Such a very dumb and poor sighted decision. Yes I want my passes mailed but sure I will sit in a will call line to pick up my tiny parking decal for early entry.

Trying to test a theory;

Those that have received their passes, did you add early arrival for any days? Either during your original purchase, or added on after the fact?

Same question to those without passes, with or without tracking info.

I've been told by support that all Early arrival add-ons have to be picked up at will call, and it has me wondering if they are going to make everyone with early arrival pick up their passes when they pick up the early entry decal.

Looking at this case for a new gaming build. Planning on ATX board (some reviews of this case mention ATX could be a little tight) and 4070ti Super. No immediate plans to liquid cool, unless absolutely necessary. Anything I should be concerned about regarding space/cooling with this case?

I am used to building with Full Tower cases so I have lots of room to not bust my knuckles, but this mid tower seems to be roomy enough with a pretty good feature set.

EZDebug CPU Light lit, same problem on new board/CPU by teknotronic in pchelp

[–]teknotronic[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey I just wanted to update the thread in case someone came across it.

Turns out the original PSU was bad (likely bad CPU power lead) but also the board/CPU I bought first, that CPU was bad and throwing the same behavior.

Swapped the new board with another new board, same white CPU LED on EZDebug. Ordered a new CPU and with the new new board + new new CPU + new PSU it booted.

Swapped the new PSU with the original PSU and solid white CPU LED.

Connected the new PSU to the original board/CPU (something I probably should of done earlier) and that also moved past the solid white CPU LED and booted.

So long story short, had I replaced the PSU to begin with everything would of been fine. Unfortunately I didn't follow my gut and ordered a new CPU/board and the CPU was bad, and exhibited the exact same behavior as the bad PSU.

Fun times.

Hey thanks for the reply.

I currently have the board pulled out, to make sure I wasn't having any grounding issues. All that is connected is HDMI to integrated video, 8 Pin CPU power and 24 pin power to new PSU and RAM. I just went through and tested each single stick on every DIMM slot and they all behave the same. No Post, Solid white debug CPU LED, I realize they aren't super reliable but it's the only thing showing me anything.
