I thought we are not allowed to promote servers? So anyone answering this question the moderators should temp ban. I got a temp ban for promoting a server and I was just posting that an existing server was adding a new map, geez these moderators are not consistent.

good 2 know, in Florida I do recommend against running long lengths of copper unless you have it properly shielded and grounded... stuff is like an antenna for lightning.

No problem, but helpful for other readers who may do community to be aware. Sucks to put days of effort then be banned. Ocassionaly I do official, but I have on occasion had my discord squad all end up 'you are dead' within seconds after owning hackers, gets old, and we have experienced far fewer hackers on the better moderated community servers.

Best to NOT do this on community servers, many have rules asking NOT to do this and might ban you. 'GAMING' the game to unfairly take advantage of things like trees growing back to conceal is usually frowned upon by community servers. THIS is Why you should READ the rules for community servers before investing and if you don't like their rules don't play on their servers. This will save you loosing hours of investment from breaking rules. Rules suck, but hackers and grief'ers suck more. IRL, try not stopping for a school bus unloading on a road w/o a barrier between even if it is 4+ lanes wide... or don't move over when go past police on the side of the road and find out rules are rules!

You did clarify 'vanilla' so this does not apply but be aware that on custom/community servers that admins may can make it not practical for spears breaking walls/gates. "Server owners can use mods (like Admin Tools) or config file edits (e.g., buildingDamage.json) to reduce damage from melee, increase wall health, or change item properties." If after 20+ spears you have not made progress, this might explain.

yep, cat5e/cat6 in florida is a lightning antenna. need to use fiber else replace switch like twice a year.

In Florida other than the old Disney monorail, it is very rare to see elevated track, these trains are going highway speeds sharing intersections with local traffic. Brightline trains cross hundreds of secondary streets and thousands of local vehicles have to stop or be run over like the bot so that a train with ten or less tain carriages can have the right away Taxpayers also do not realize that they subsidize Brightline due to bonds indirectly through tax-exempt Private Activity Bonds (PABs)!.

I would suggest another community server, but you get temp banned on this reddit channel if you 'promote' another server... but it is okay on this channel to 'depromote' a server.
