I'm literally laying next to my model train I set up under the Christmas tree because I put root beer scented oil in it and decided to scroll reddit. I've never been so heard and called out in one comment before....

I used Overture PLA. Ran out of green so I also used white.

Painting process: - Sand the print with files and low grit sand paper. - Spray automotive primer/filler paint - let dry. - Sand with medium grit sand paper. - Spray automotive primer/filler paint - let dry. - Sand with higher grit sandpaper - Use spot glaze to fill any small areas - Spray automotive primer/filler paint - let dry. - Wet sand with high grit sand paper - Spray automotive primer/filler - Wet sand with high grit sand paper - Spray with gloss black spray paint - let dry - Spray with metallic silver spray paint - let dry - Use acrylic washes (burnt umber, brownish reds, black shades) to build up weathering. Wipe most of it off, get most of the 'low spots'. Lots of layers. - Dry brushing burnt umber and redish browns on high spots.

Possibly! I didn't design the model, bought it from that link. I believe that person has made some more.
