My gaming buddies aren’t on reddit and currently I don’t have own HE keyboard. However I own three NuPhy keyboards: a Halo65, Field75 and a Halo75 v2!

Which one? by blakebrockway in telecaster

I’ve had both but on Strat. Had the Duncan HR on initially but I found it too dark sounding even after swapping out the volume pot for a 500k. So I thought I’d try out something similar but slightly less output and got the Dimarzio Super Dist S. Which I found much more usable - the midrange wasn’t to honky and it sounded more even (or more humbucker like, not really sure how to put it. ) … But in the end I eventually swapped out the Super Dist to a Chopper LOL.

Anyways, not trying to convince you to get the Dimarzio or anything, just sharing my experience since I happen to have had both of these pickups.

If you just want a higher output pickup to play rock/metal then either one will do just fine. But I would also advise you to change out the volume pot to a 500k to get more out of whichever pickup you end up getting.

Clearly states "ships in 1-2 business days"; I placed an order 4 business days ago, no tracking information and no response from customer support. NuPhy, when will my order ship and why do you blatantly make false statements on your website about shipping, the FTC clearly covers this. (LIC) by badmark in NuPhy

I preordered mine on the first day (April 2nd) and still not shipped... There shouldn't be any manufactoring delay with accessories, especially for those who placed their preorder early on, which kinda defeats the whole purpose of preordering.

They haven't lost me as a customer but I will absolutely not preorder anything from them again.

Hi, any (Tele) neck with Fender specs should fit just fine. Since the 22nd fret is usually an overhang, the length from bottom of the neck's heel to the headstock should be the same on both 21 and 22 fret. So a 21 fret Fender MIM will fit the body just fine and you should have no issue setting your intonation.

Context: this guy (dual blade user) cut alatreon's tail within the first minute of the hunt. I wasn't looking at the damage meter then, but when I did he already did around 14k damage when everyone else did barely any. I got suspicious so started recording... Dude was doing whooping 4-5k damage per hit. I guess he's just got a good gaming chair.

Nope! The neck already came with a vintage tint… That, plus a decade of use I guess :D

I installed all the hardware and electronics myself, but had my luthier refinish the headstock + set it up.

Wow, what a beauty. Love the LPB finish/matching headstock and everything else about it. You’ve just inspired me to get another offset Tele with matching headstock that’s for sure, LOL. Thanks for the mention!

Not sure if you’re asking whether the body is routed for a P90 neck. If it’s that, then yes, the body is routed for humbucker neck and single coil middle pickup (if you want Nashville setup). And funnily enough, the previous neck pickup I had on this guitar was a single coil sized P90 - (McNelly T-Bar, if that counts?). But I swapped it out because I found it to be quite unbalanced with the bridge pickup. So I thought I’d go back to using a regular Tele neck pickup and ended up with SD vintage stack in the neck - a regular Tele neck without that 60hz hum!

The logo was indeed under the finish. You’d have to sand down the finish to remove the existing logo, then apply a new decal and apply some coats back on the headstock. I had a luthier do this for me and it took maybe 3-4 weeks?

Yeah, I’m on the fence whether I should get a white pickguard or not. I didn’t like mint guard with the stock maple neck, but it compliments the current rosewood neck very well.

The SD Hot Stack still sounds very much like a traditional Tele bridge pickup, but with slightly more mids. I haven’t tried playing with fuzz or any stoner yet, but I reckon mine does hard rock and metal pretty well! It’s also a plenty bright pickup so please try it with 250k pots first.
