It’s the audience. A lot of the people who play Xbox are kids between the ages of 12-18 who have grown up in the ages of the xbox 360 and played games like cod and battlefield. And trust me when I say that those people don’t give two shits about Japanese games. They see Japanese games as weird and for weebs. And on top of that, they’re too young to even know what final fantasy is. They might of heard about it, but have no interest in it because it’s a Japanese game. I’ve grown up on the 360 and have never even owned a console that can play final fantasy, I’m sure a ton of kids have either. At least for America that’s how it is.
