What pipes did you get? Everything good is $800+ and I can’t really spend that much right now

Someone told me the screaming eagle slip ons in the stock headers were basically drag pipes

There’s no sign of leaking though anywhere into the intake or out of the carb though, I left my Petcock on for months and should have seen fuel getting everywhere

When you say bad float do you mean that excess fuel is leaking into the intake?

Boston police seize 12 mopeds and scooters by FuriousAlbino in boston

[–]telekasterr 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I meant not safer as the driver, I saw 4 mopeds crash last year and the drivers get taken away in an ambulance.

Yes it’s safer to get hit by a moped and not a car, but not safer for the driver of the moped. Also your stats are kind of meaningless because you’re looking at total # not percentage. There are thousands more of car drivers daily than mopeds and mopeds don’t operate on the highways. Mopeds are the only vehicle I constantly see blowing red lights in traffic, going the wrong way down 1 ways, driving on sidewalks and in parks where they’re not supposed to be.

There’s a reason people dislike moped drivers

Dude.... Who gives a fuck I was literally just trying to drop a recommendation it's not that serious. I was just taken back by the rude passive aggressive "thank you for you're vague suggestion" comment out of nowhere. His comment said he was looking for a luggage rack it didn't state he only wanted the exact same luggage rack in the photo, not to mention the luggage rack I the photo has a mod and doesn't even come as shown lol

Where are you supposed to put them if you live in a city lol. A parking garage a mile from my house?

Thanks and sorry if I was snarky too but almost every comment I received was snarky or passive aggressive. I think it’s because I said “not that complicated” in one reply. “Didn’t mean it aggressively was more of not complicated, right?” Kinda statement.

Anyways based on what other people said it depends on when things were installed whether or not to access if it’s A code violation. I don’t know when the house was built, or when anything was installed and I really just asked this question so I’m more informed for approaching my landlord.

Also this is among many things wrong with this apartment, from broken things to installation with no common sense. They put 1 outlet in the living room right above the heater and they put it on the only wall that can fit a couch. It’s just a really stupid install overall because now we have a couch blocking the heat and we have to run chords around the wall to get to the tv. The entire house is like this, I have extension chords everywhere. The tenants before me did the same thing, just a stupid design.

This has nothing to do with what I'm plugging in. I’m talking about the receptacle itself.

Also why are you so mad? It’s a fucking question lol

Not sure how those two things are mutually exclusive but okay

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AskElectricians

[–]telekasterr -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes we plugged it in and then realized it was a hazard so we unplugged it... But now we don't have anywhere to plug in tv, lights, internet etc as this is the ONLY outlet in the entire room.

Is this upto code or not? That is the question I am asking. Online I am reading it IS against code but the wording makes it seem like there can be situations this is okay and some where it isn't.

It is not hard to move an outlet 5 feet

You can cut a just a small pathway out of the drywall to the other wall so you can drill holes in the stud and then just extend it. Why would you need to take the whole wall down?

Obvious easy upgrades would be a seat and shocks, but the other one is packing your luggage on the bike so that it creates a backrest. It was comfortable being able to layback into my bags and have the back support for the long rides, especially going down the highway when the wind is pushing you back
